Location: North Topsail Beach, Topsail Island, Southern Coast, Coastal, North Carolina, USA (30 miles North of Historic Wilmington)

Accommodations:  Beach House, 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 10)

Come relax for a week and discover one of North Carolina's best kept secrets. Topsail Island has been our families favorite vacation destination for 20 years. We like the uncrowded beach which makes for great sharks teeth and shell hunting. Waking up to in the morning to see shrimp boats just off the coast followed by dolphins is a treat for both young and old alike.

Our beach house has many extras... All bedrooms have their own deck access with fabulous views. Each bedroom has cable color TV. Four kings and one bunk bed... All of which are comfortable. Private back yard with two picnic tables near grills. In addition to a fully-equipped home, we also have a portable crib, junior bed - both with linen. There is a high chair and booster seat along with small children toys and games.

  • This was the first time we stayed at this wonderful home. With 2 small children, we normally bring loads of stuff. Not this year! We only had to bring our clothes and food. This is a lovely home, full of amenities, great views of the beach and sound, and just a short walk to the beach. The Rourks are also a pleasure to rent from. We look forward to many more visits at this wonderful beach home. Before you pack a bunch of stuff, ask them if it is already there b/c it probably is. The Tarts Roseboro, NC

  • This is our second year at Medicinal Use. What a perfect vacation home! A very clean and well kept house with plenty of room for large families. King beds in all rooms are great! Great views of the ocean from the front deck without the added cost of a 'beachfront' home. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. Families w/ small kids will love the ammenties they offer - sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels - no need to carry all of that stuff in your car with you! The beach is all families and very quiet. The water is always warm and safe. Enjoy!

  • This house was just the perfect size for our family get together in July, 2006. The amenities for grandchildren were also very much appreciated as well as the adults (toys, games, highchair, baby bed,beach toys, etc.). We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the great room, balconies, and pool. You made it seem special and as well as cozy. All agreed that they want to come back to Topsail Island and especially the Rourk's house in a few years.
