Whether you're a first timer to Orlando or an experienced Magic Kingdom player, you'll love our condo at the new Blue Heron Beach Resort! The Blue Heron is a superb lake front resort, located a quarter mile off Exit 68 from I4, less than one mile from the Disney gates, three miles from Sea World, seven miles from Universal Studios and within 20 minutes of the Orlando Airport. There's even free shuttle service to the parks! Can't beat that!
Let's explore this "home away from home". Our condo is a spacious, professionally decorated 1BR/2BA home on the 6th floor of the resort. It sleeps six, with a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen size pullout couch in the living room and a large bunk area just off of the master bedroom.
Hey, what about the kitchen? This is everyone's favorite place to fix a quick bite to eat or hang out with family and friends! The large kitchen provides a dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, oven/range microwave, double sinks with a disposal, with beautiful granite counter tops throughout. The supermarket is adjacent to the resort for all your kitchen essentials or you can check out Walmart, 1 mile down the street. Just in case you need to wash or dry last minute towels or clothes the condo comes complete with a full-size washer and dryer.
The sleeping accommodations are terrific! The Master Suite provides a King-size bed, large closet, TV, DVD, music system, with a full bath including a whirlpool tub. This condo even provides bunk beds for two additional guests. There's a queen size sofa in the living room to meet all of your sleeping needs.
The living room is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the views! First, you have an entertainment center for all your indoor enjoyment. Second, the balcony is just off the living room and provides a beautiful view of Lake Byran, a spring-fed lake with over 900 feet of frontage. On top of that you will have a fabulous view of the nightly fireworks at the parks.
After a long day at the parks settle into the condo and enjoy a magnificent view from our 6th floor balcony overlooking the gorgeous free form swimming pool and beautiful 400 acre Lake Bryan. Our freshwater heated 6000 square foot lagoon-style pool includes a baby pool and hot tub. There's an additional pool and a lakefront tiki hut for snacks and drinks. Don't forget to tackle the water sports including jet skis, power boats, swimming, water skiing, kayaking, canoing, boat dock and fishing.
Parking is a snap! We've got a 2 level covered parking area to protect your vehicle.
Check-in couldn't be easier! There's an onsite check-in and management facility with 4000 square feet of meeting space.
No detail has been overlooked! A fitness center and game room are right off the pool for your enjoyment. "Hawaiian Rumble Minature Golf" is right next door. If you're into an 18 hole golf outing there are 16 golf courses in the area. There is an onsite video-arcade with video rentals available. "CiCi's Pizza" is next door - a sure treat for the kids and a late night snack! "Starbucks" is on-property for your favorite latte or you can venture to the adjacent shopping area for breakfast at "Dunkin Donuts"! "Bahama Breeze", a restaurant, is next door to the resort for a fun evening out. Your close to Premium Outlet Mall, "Dixie Stampede" and "Gatorland".
What's to see? Kids under 11 love Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios. For summer water fun take them to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Sea World and MGM appeal to all ages! If you're looking to entertain your older kids get them passes to Universal Studios and to Island Adventures for thrilling rides. Adults and teens love Epcot. If you're over 16 you can see the park via a "Segway" stand-up scooter. Pleasure Island is perfect for the over 21 crowd. If you want to have a real experience take in "Cirque de Soleil" located at Downtown Disney - call ahead for tickets.
You're sure to have a great time at the parks and a relaxing stay in your "home away from home".
