The "Greenhouse" is an adorable cottage just two blocks north of historic Black Mountain in a quiet secluded neighborhood. You can easily walk downtown to sample the diverse restaurants, shops, museums, and art galleries Black Mountain is so famous for. We are also just minutes away from Asheville and the magnificent Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and a wide variety of cultural and musical entertainment activities. Lake Tomahawk is a block away from us, and Montreat is just right up the road. We are in the perfect location !
In the summer, enjoy the pleasant temperatures we typically enjoy here in the mountains of western North Carolina, and you simply cannot miss the splendor and majesty of the leaves turning vibrant shades of orange and red in the fall.
Take a hike up to the top of Craggy Gardens, of fly fish for rainbow trout on one of our area's many crystal clear rivers and streams. If it is thrills that you seek, rock climbing and white water rafting opportunities abound. On the other hand, you may just want to kick back and relax in one of our front porch rockers with a good book, or entertain family and friends at dinner outside under the stars on our spacious new deck. As you can see, the best of both worlds awaits you at the Greenhouse in Black Mountain-a newly remodeled cottage completely stocked with all the modern conveniences you will need.
