Our spacious vacation home is on beautiful Serpent Lake in Deerwood, Minnesota. Immaculate and comfortable, our home boasts 2,100 square feet and is only 8 years old.

This lake-front townhouse is available year-round to enjoy with friends, on family vacations, outdoor adventures and getaways. Serpent Lake is a quiet 1,100 acre lake.

FOUR SEASONS TO ENJOY ~
the FALL colors are glorious traveling Scenic Highway 6 thru the Cuyuna Range! September and October boosts some of our best weather! A brilliance unmatched, as the leaves bid their farewell. Great XC skiing and snowmobiling in the WINTER. Ice fishing too! Just standing in the middle of the lake on the ice is amazing. SPRING is so renewing! SUMMER is fun in the sun!

The fishing is great, there are walleyes, northerns ,bass, perch and crappies. Boat traffic is light on this lake compared to other lakes. The boat launch is right across the bay from the town house. There is a dock on the property for your use. The town of Brainerd is 16 miles away and has all your big chain stores. Crosby is 4 miles away and has lots of antique stores. Wireless internet is available.

  • We had a great stay with 3 generations in this beautiful house. We appreciated the very clean accommodations, the fully stocked game and toy cabinet, the outdoor & water toys in the garage, the basket full of local attraction and restaurant information, and the fully stocked kitchen and grill where we made wonderful meals. We had beautiful weather and our kids (ages 3 & 6) enjoyed fishing with nets from the dock-- they caught quite a few! The only thing that was a bit of a drawback were the rocks and weeds that cover the lake bottom here. My kids still had fun swimming out to the floating raft, but the wading and shallow water play we had anticipated weren't an option. We went to the public beach in Crosby that was very nice and had a wonderful playground adjacent to the beach, so we didn't miss out on much swimming during our visit. On a colder day, we took the kids to the awesome kids' pool at the YMCA in Brainerd (about 25 min away), which we used for free as YMCA members in our home town.

  • Great place to stay! Everything we could think of that we might need or want, was there! From a fully furnished kitchen, to plenty of linens, to board games, movies if you wanted, it was there! It is beautifully furnished, right on the lake, not crowded, just a super place to enjoy "up north". We plan to return...very soon!

  • Your lake home exceeded my expectations! This was are annual three couple vacation. All I can say is that this week was a huge blessing for me! It was in the 80's all week ~ beautiful weather.

  • We had a fabulous time on Serpent Lake! The house was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a totally relaxing vacation. WE rented a pontoon boat right next door and got to enjoy fishing, swimming, and sushine. It was great to be able to use things from the garage as well. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while our son was at Heartland hockey camp. We would love to do it again next year.

  • Our family of five very much enjoyed this townhome and were very comfortable staying here. We had beautiful weather for the most part but when we stayed in, there were still plenty of things to do. The townhome is well equipped with games, books and puzzles along with great kitchen items, adequate linens, etc. We rented a pontoon from the Bay Lake Marine next door - Todd made that effortless. If you're looking for true rest and relaxation, this is a great place to find it!

  • My stay at the townhouse on Serpent Lake was very relaxing and enjoyable. There was fun shopping in Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. You are able to ride bikes aroung Serpent Lake. It is very level and just about the right lenght to ride. If you want more, you go around twice. Deerwood has tennis courts. There is a park in Crosby by Serpent Lake with activities for kids. The yard at the townhome has room for yard games and located on the lake for water activities. Boat launch is nearby.

  • We had a delightful time at your cabin. Fishing was amazing. Kids loved the swimming dock, the kayaks, and the huge back yard with hamoc. The townhome/cabin was absolutely beautiful and our two families fit comfortably into it. Although we had a couple of cold days, the bulk of the vacation was gorgeous.   • Three couples really enjoyed a peaceful week. We took advantage of the fresh snow conditions and cross country skied and snow shoed (we used your snow shoes) on the lake. One couple also skied on the nearby park trails. It was a great getaway! We highly recommend it ~ very quiet, no one was around. The twin home was very open, clean, spacious and comfortable with a great view of the bay!
