Fisherman's Dream is a 2 bedroom/2.5 bath cabin located in beautiful Fannin County near Blue Ridge; deep in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. The property is located on one of Georgia's best trout waters, the Toccoa River, and has approximately 1,000 ft of direct river access. It is also within a few miles of the 750,000 acre Chattahoochee National Forest.

If you need to get away from the world and enjoy nature at it s best, then this cabin is the place to be. Although we note the fishing (and it is great!) the cabin is beautiful inside. Designer decorated with hardwood floors, rugs, comfortable furnishings and warm accents throughout. Enjoy the large hot tub in the summer on the back porch with the great mountain views or warm yourself by the wood burning stacked rock fireplace in the winter. Cabin has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with modern appliances, a large dining room, a sun room with a comfy sofa and recliners providing a great place to read a book or have a quiet conversation outside of the main living area, a large loft with a gaming area and sleeping accommodations for the kids, a screened porch with rocking chairs and a large Hot Tub facing a beautiful mountain scene.

During the day you can take a 20-25 minute scenic drive to Blue Ridge and stroll the tree lined streets of downtown, visiting the shops and restaurants. Take a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, a great way to spend an afternoon or morning. Visit the Alpine Village of Helen or go panning for gold in Dahlonega.

Those who enjoy the outdoors will have plenty to do as well. Take a canoe, raft, or tube ride on the beautiful Toccoa River. Many put in/take out spots in close proximity. Hike the Benton McKaye trail, the Appalachian Trail, take a ride into the Blue Ridge WMA, Coopers WMA or the Rich Mountain WMA - all are within a fifteen minute drive.

The cabin is also located in TROUT COUNTRY. The Toccoa is one of the best trout fishing waters in the state and guests will have access to approx. 1,000 ft. Large fish rising in the mornings and evenings and plenty of hungry trout to keep the kids happy during the day. Stocked and wild Rainbow and Brown trout. One half mile to the Blue Ridge WMA and 1.5 miles to Coopers WMA - numerous trout streams abound in both areas!

Hungry and want to go out? - The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant is minutes away and provides an upscale dining experience at very reasonable prices. Located steps away from the river, this place has excellent food and live music on weekend evenings. Also, the cities of Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, and Blairsville are all within 25 miles.

General stores located within two miles of either direction of the cabin!

We would love to have you as our guest so please make your reservation today!! Please take a look at our previous Guests comments to see how others have enjoyed their stay.

    • What an amazing few days we had at your beautiful place. The fishing was fantastic! Most mornings I brought 20 plus trout to hand before my fiance even woke up. The quality of the fishing made it hard to leave to fish the other creeks in the area. The location is as good as it gets for anyone wanting to fish different places and catch a ton of fish. The cabin itself is very nice and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. To top it all off, we got engaged right there on the dock leading into the river. Can't wait to return.

      Homeowner Response:
Congratulations on your engagement! So glad to hear that you had a great time. It is so nice to get feedback from previous guests of Fisherman’s Dream. We thank you and all who have given us great comments and feedback on your stay.

    • This was a beautiful, spacious and clean cabin fully equipped with everything. Your clothes and food are all that is needed. We had a great relaxing Thanksgiving weekend and even got to see snow the morning we left! The trout we caught was delicious; had a fire one evening down by the river; did some hiking, and enjoyed the hot tub. Will keep this on top of our list to visit again and will definitely recommend to others.
