Our home is located 4 blocks from Zuma Beach. Zuma Beach has a three mile boardwalk for walking or biking and Broad Beach has three miles of sand for exploring sea shells, sea glass and starfish at low tide. Surf lessons are offered on Zuma Beach near the Beach Club. As a guest, you can enjoy the best Private Beach Club in Malibu. The Private Beach Club is located 3 blocks from our home between Zuma Beach and Broad Beach.
On July 4, there is an amazing fireworks display from a barge located directly in from of the Beach Club. You can watch the fireworks from the beach or on the deck of the Beach Club. At the Private Beach Club, you will find picnic tables with umbrellas, a play structure for children, volleyball court, two sets of swings, private indoor showers and bathrooms. There is a lifeguard on duty everyday and there are chairs and umbrellas at the beach for your use at no charge.
Directly across the street from the Beach Club and three blocks from our home is a grocery store, Starbucks, dry cleaner, postal annex, and beach supply store. You can also have dinners delivered to the beach club from several local restaurants.
Our home has 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. Two of the beds are queen size and the third is a full size loft bed with a desk and bookshelves below. There is a deck off of the master bedroom with gorgeous mountain views. The computer is in the master bedroom. Downstairs is a recently remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, a bonus room off of the kitchen, a dining area that seats six and a living room with a fireplace (50" flat screen TV over the fireplace) and two couches (one couch pulls out to queen size bed) and single chair. There are two outdoor seating areas. One off of the kitchen area which features two person Adirondack chairs and a heat lamp. This seating area has the same mountain views as the master bedroom. The second seating area is between the garage and the home and features plants, grill and seating for four. This is the best spot for privacy and looking up at all the stars. In the garage, there is an extra refrigerator and a play area for kids to watch videos and DVDs. We have an eight year old and a 4 year old with lots of toys and games and dress up. We have a the WII games for your enjoyment.
A few steps from the condominium is a grassy area for children to play and about 100 steps further is a private pool with lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas. In the neighborhood about four blocks away, there is a tennis court and basketball court. Basketball, tennis racquet's, two adult bicycles, a kids bicycle, tricycle will also be available for use. There are also many hiking trails in the surrounding mountains.
The Malibu Pier has recently reopened for fishing, boat rides and dining. There is also high end shopping and the world famous NOBU restaurant near the Malibu Pier.
If you stay longer than a week, housecleaning is available. Reliable, trustworthy babysitting is available for additional charge. |
