We stayed with another family for one week in February 2010. We all had a great time skiing, and enjoyed heading home to a warm and very comfortable accommodation each day. It was great, spacious accommodation.

We have just stayed at this chalet and it really was a home from home. Everything was there and we had a wonderful time. It was perfect for skiing at sunday river, just over 10 mins drive. We would recommend staying at this house for families or groups who love the mountain.

We rented the Brook Chalet for superbowl weekend this year and all 10 of us had a blast. the open floor plan was great for hanging with all 10 of us. The chalet feels secluded but is a short drive to Sunday River and various neccesities and the owner was very prompt about the return of the security deposit (i've rented many places in the past few years where this has not been the case). We will definitely seek out this property for future rentals!

We stayed at the chalet this fall and we all had a great family vacation. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us. Bethel is a gorgeous town and the fall foliage was spectacular this year. Thank you so much.

Came to town for a class reunion, filled the house with friends and had a great time! The house is comfortable, spacious, and remote. Beautiful! Got repeated compliments and accolades all weekend, and since!

My wife an I had an excellent stay at the Brook Chalet. We came to Maine to day hike but wanted a comfortable place to relax at night. The house is new, is well maintained, and clean. The house was very spacious and equipped with everything that we needed during the week. The Flat Screen TV with Satellite, Internet, XBox, and Pool Table were all fantastic. The property has a lot of privacy but is close enough to other houses that you don't feel isolated. There is a great wrap around deck that was perfect for reading. The property is less than a 10 minute drive to the town of Bethel where there are shops, restaurants, and a small movie theater. Bethel is centrally located between Grafton Notch and Evans Notch and there are many great hiking trails in the area. This is an excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

Myself and friends stayed at Brook House and loved everything about it. The house itself is gorgeous, comfortable and accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone and plan to go back myself.

"My family of four and my parents stayed at the Brook Chalet in June 2009. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to others. The description given is accurate and the home is lovely. It is easy to get to and close to a grocery store, shops and restaurants. The chalet also has a great little waterfall behind it. My ten year old son really loved that. We also found a great waterfall to visit called Screw Auger Falls that is just minutes from the cabin. Our favorite thing about Bethel was the close proximity to the mountains and wildlife. During our visit, we were blessed to see two moose, a bear, a mother and baby fox and dozens of deer. The owner Chris was easy to get a hold of and extremely helpful. We plan on staying at the Brook Chalet the next time we return. "

My children and I stayed here in August 08 and had a fantastic time!!! We were all so relaxed and enjoyed all the nature around us. We even had 2 Moose in our backyard. The house is beautiful as well as the area. We enjoyed nature walks, kayaking, jumping the cliffs eating out and just relaxing on the deck seeing all the shooting stars!! We will come back

The house is beautiful and the view of the mountains breathtaking. Only 10 minutes to Sunday River and the town of Bethel. We wish we could have stayed longer because there were so many things we wanted to do. Can't wait to book the next trip!

Our stay was excellent and the chalet is very nice and comfortable. We had over 12 " of snow while there and skiing was great. We love Bethel and hope to return.

Thank you to the owner of the Brook Chalet! We had a wonderful time on our vacation in July. Bethel was beautiful and the house was perfect. My son loved to play in the game room. Plus, we were close enough to visit the sites in NH as well, like Santa's Village. Thank you again and we will definately be booking this house again in the future!

The Brook and Bethel Chalets have been a favorite vacation spot for my family and I for the past 2 years. In the winter, Sunday River can't be beat. The Chalet's close location to town as well as the mountain are very convenient. In the summer, the area provides top notch golf (at Sunday River), fishing (actually caught 8 trout in one day!), and other family activities such as biking and canoeing. Storyland and Santa's Village are close enough to take the family. My 4 year old twin's love it. The Brook Chalet is a newly built home with upgrades you don't normally find in a vacation rental. The owner provides all the comforts of home to make your stay enjoyable. The Bethel Chalet is a traditional log cabin that also provides everything you need to enjoy Bethel and all of the outdoor activities. I would recommend this getaway to anyone and I have already booked my stays next year!

"I wanted to say thank you for an absolutely beautiful week in your chalet. We enjoyed the fresh air and wandering around to check out the streams and critter footprints we found. My husband and I both thought your home was done in such nice detail with lots of thought. The boys gave you the highest compliment in that they were ready to move to Maine.
