Carolina Keep community is 117 acres of mountain stillness and unsurpassed "chill-out" luxury. This was a rustic cabin, great room, wood burning fireplace, sleeping loft and bathroom with great long range views that we built 25 years ago.
Three years ago, we added a ground floor master bedroom suite with a Jacuzzi. We added a recreation deck system, gazebo with charcoal grill, another gazebo with comfortable seating and a separate deck with a hot tub. Overlooking all this is a covered porch with rocking chairs to view a range of mountains, that separate North Carolina from Tennessee.
Three hiking trails within the Carolina Keep property take you to the rushing rapids of the Toe River Gorge a white water mountain river. As you hike through the pristine forest you may see deer, grouse, wild turkeys and hundreds of all manner of birds and small woodland critters.
The owners of Carolina Keep have begun to share. Home and cabin sites are available and many folks have built their own paradise here, in these mountains, unspoiled by modern ideas, North Carolina mountains, the way they used to be.
