Blue Creek Lodge is a three level log home with four bedrooms, three full baths, living room, family room, loft and large kitchen. It is located in the foothills of the Centennial Mountain Range in a secluded area with lots of privacy and great views of the Snake River Plain and a view of the Grand Tetons in your backyard. Walk out the door and enjoy the serenity of the meadows surrounding the home or take a short hike to the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River and be fishing in minutes. Take a short drive and you can be rafting down the river enjoying a slow lazy float trip. Take an afternoon drive to West Yellowstone, Montana or Jackson, Wyoming and enjoy the unique gift shops and restaurants before entering Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park.
For you snowmobilers you are in the premier snowmobiling area in the country. Island Park is famous for it’s snowmobiling as well as being a short distance to Mt. Jefferson. With over 750 miles of groomed snowmobile trails you can ride to Island Park, West Yellowstone, or even Jackson, Wyoming from the lodge. There is also snowmobiling right out the front door with wide open spaces for kids and beginners to safely sled within viewing distance of parents. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails abound.
The master bedroom has 1 king log bed, two bedrooms have bunk beds with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. The loft has 2 queen portable beds and the fourth bedroom has a queen log bed in it. The family room has a large TV with surround sound, DVD/VCR. No satellite or cable TV. No landlines for phones but your cell phone will work out here. Play board games (provided) while you enjoy the comfortable living room on the main level. Just flip a switch and the rock wall fireplace with pellet stove insert will fire up and keep you warm. The kitchen features a range/oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with all the amenities needed for large gatherings. The kitchen has an island bar making it easy to serve and the dining room has a log dining room table that seats ten people.
This is a great gathering place for family reunions or family vacations or a quiet getaway for a few. Sit outside around a campfire and enjoy an evening with family and friends as the sun sets with the evening sky shining on the Grand Tetons.
