It was great. The view was wonderful and the house was perfect for our family. Million dollar view! The very short walk to the beach was perfect. This is a house we will be visiting again.

Our 2nd annual ladies weekend. Great View, lovely living room and kitchen! We hot tubbed it last night and built a fire – our men would be so proud! Had oysters on the half shell last night. WOW!! So good! Thanks for providing the backdrop for a perfect weekend get-away!

I love how the house is facing east because then I can see the sunrise. Today was the first time I’ve seen a sunrise in person (that I can remember). I thought is was so pretty how the sun was a pinkish ball of light resting on top of the mountains. I though it was lovely how the sun cast a shimmery tail across the ripply water. I got a few pictures of it too. The kitchens were very beautiful. And I loved the islands in the center. I also loved the open floor plan cause then everyone is closer together and everyone can talk in the living room and in the kitchen. The first night I slept on the couch bed, and I didn’t have a good night but all the other nights I slept on the folded twin bed downstairs, which was much better. I really like how there were 3 bathrooms. One for each family. Also, like how there were two levels of the deck. It was nice how you could get to the top deck from the inside and outside stairs. The view o the water was gorgeous! I don’t thing I’ll ever get tired of the water. I really like watching all the little boats and kayaks glide across the canal. Anyway I would write more but I have to go. Thanks for letting us stay! I hope we come next year! (Age 13) Wow…my sister wrote a ton! Well, I think we all enjoyed our stay, and I hope we come back!

This was our first visit to your home on our yearly Hood Canal visit. It was a perfect home for a large group of varied ages. Our boat broke down but we improvised. Would love to see you have a small rowboat for our return visit. No pressure ? If not, we’ll settle for another cookie sheet. Thanks for providing such a wonderful venue to share with others. This house is huge and AWESOME!! The furniture is so comfortable and everything else is amazing!! I enjoyed it so much, but actually we did! This is fantastic! (Age 9) The house is huge and very well decorated. It is the best! It makes me feel at home, and it’s very comfortable! Nicely labeled cabinets, neat deck, and very roomy. The view is amazing, and I want to come back again soon. Neat job! (Age10)

Came here to celebrate a New Year with friends. Mostly rain – but sill exception vies. Lots of great food, drinks, and fun. Got lot of R&R by sleeping in everyday. We want to return in the summer to take full advantage of the decks, wildlife, and water. Best wisher for a fabulous 2010! Moonglade: N. We visited your very special waterfall, hung out at the Pleasant Harbor Marina for coffee and took an amazing hike right here in the neighborhood down to the waterfront. We loved everything! The view from your house is lovely and calming. Thanks for sharing all this stuff with us.

I love your house! It’s well located and has great access to the canal. Thank you so much I had a blast. (Age 17) We had a great time here this week. Your place is very nice. All was terrific! What a spectacular place. Lots of space – ever-changing water views – wonderful weather – it’s better than a cruise. We rented kayaks (we recommend!) and had many happy hot tub hours too! Definitely hope to return!! A great place to entertain!

There are 10 of us here, we are the “Hoodies”. We are best friends, breast cancer survivors, mom, wives, and all under the age of 40. THIS is our opportunity once per year, to bond, talk, eat, drink, swim, cook, sit, walk and enjoy the view on the back deck. There is only one word for this trip: perfection. Thank you for providing the most amazing venue for such a special weekend. We have already began planning for next year. This house, this destination is our tradition. Please don’t ever leave. See you next year!

This place is beautiful! Jellyfish, oysters and so many things! The hot tub is great! Thank you for the wonderful house! Thank you for everything! It was the best days in my life! The hot tub was the best! It was not too warm! The oysters were very fun to get! I wish I could stay here longer! It was soooo FUN!! Hood Canal was fantastic! Hot tub was great! Collecting oysters was kinda sick…anyway I had a great time and I’ll be back in August! Hello there, the view is spectacular.

No sign of the one armed man again today. The eagles continue to do an excellent job on sentry duty. One sits atop a tree to the South, the other has selected a tree to the North. The crows seem upset by this. The waterside remains secure – two special agents in kayaks maintain a constant vigil. Whey they keep raising and lowering the water level is still a mystery. I think I’m safe – for now… Beautiful!! Wow! Really enjoyed a special moment on the canal. Great place for family gatherings! Thank You!

Thank you for the perfect home for our family gathering – It meant so much to be able to have my children with me. We loved getting up in the morning and going clam digging! Great time had by all! The water was warm enough for the young guys to swim and snorkel. Took a trip to Rock Brook Falls - a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon. Been there three times. Built a fire in the cabana and used the hot tub – nice set up. Yes we saw an pet the seals (only Andrea pet the seal) We will try and return some day.

What a treasure! We arrived after a few hectic days of visiting friends & family and when we walked in & saw the view, the deck, the gorgeous landscape – we knew our vacation had officially started! We enjoyed the sun & the rain, the blackberries, the deck, the beach, the water, the oysters & the quiet! Our son who is pushing his senior year at the Univ of AZ (go Wildcats!) spent some very refreshing hours in a kayak “communing” with the seals & huge jumping salmon. We thank you for allowing us this special opportunity to stay in your beautiful house. We leave refreshed!

The place is beautiful the surroundings are beautiful the local people could not have been more friendly. Thank you for helping us to have a super vacation. This house is excellent! So well stocked, clean and comfortable!!! Beautiful place. Lovely decoration. Huge deck, great for tanning. The people are very friendly. And at low tide, tide pooling is great, crabs, starfish, sea stars, eels, Yummy oysters and the fun seals and otters. Thanks so much for great hospitality!

This is the best place we have ever stayed at. The scenery is unbeatable and so relaxing to view. While we were here, we went crabbing & had fresh crabs for dinner. We shucked oysters & had them for dinner too. This was a ***** 5 Star plus visit & experience. We will remember this visit a long, long time. We had an AWESOME time staying here! So much to do! Loved the ample supple of oysters! The best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back!
