When we were looking for somewhere to stay, like most travellers these days we read the reviews. The last review for this was years ago and are we glad we didn't do our normal thing and go straight past. We are of the opinion that people before us do not want to share this corner of paradise with "new" people, hence no reviews. Well sorry to spoil their fun but if you don't stay here you are missing a treat Arriving late after a 9 hour flight from the UK and a 2 hour drive from Orlando we found the key and instructions exactly where the office said they would be. Walked into the condo where a couple of side lights had been left on and the AC set at a nice temperature - nice touch Condo very clean and well equipped. Woke up the first morning to find dolphins playing outside the back yard, along with a couple of pelicans, cranes, egrets, fish jumping, even the little black racer snake that crossed the path a couple of times added to the lovely feel of the place. The photo's on the advert definately do not do this place justice. The views out the back door are to die for, and this is from somebody that has done Route 66 including the helicopter flight over Grand Canyon The pool is just the right size with few people using it I could go on all day about the good points of this condo but the bad point is we were only here for 2 weeks. If you do not stop here you have only got yourselves to blame for missing out on paradiseRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I just wanted to tell you that my husband and I had a wonderful weekend at your condo. It was perfect! Your unit was in a fabulous spot and we did not want to leave. Our pastor came out on Saturday night and performed a renewal ceremony for us on the beach. This was a surprise for my husband. Our 3 year old daughter stayed with us Saturday night and we enjoyed the beach and the pool so much! We would definitely like to come back some time. My daughter did not want to leave. And the front office people, were FABULOUS!!!! They knew about our renewal ceremony and put a bottle of champagne, a card and a balloon in our room while we were on the beach! First class service all the way!!! Loved it!!! Our weekend could not have been more perfect! Thank you!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We visited Barefoot Beach on April 4-11th 2009. The condo was beautiful and had everything you could ask for. We were going to buy beach toys for our boys age 7 and 10 when we arrived, but Bruce and Patty had all of that plus boogie boards, a cooler you can pull to the beach, and beach chairs. The only thing we had to bring from home were beach towels. We sat on the patio every morning for coffee. Saw tons of dolphins swimming in the water. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We can not wait to go back. Thanks so much!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

The Barefoot Beach property is peaceful, quiet and is beautifully decorated with tropical plants and trees. This section of the gulf beaches has the feel of small town Florida.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We like the convenience of parking right outside the condo front door. The water is just a few steps out the back door and we see dolphins every visit. Watching the boats cruise by is very relaxing. We have two bikes for riding along the beach road which has a new bike lane.
