It is a perfect setting for families. My "new" husband and I invited our grown children and grandchildren to celebrate the occasion with us and we all had a wonderful visit. The accommodations could not be more suitable to give everyone their space and a third floor "hub" for all of us to be together. We even have talked about coming back to get together here again! Thank you for sharing your fantastic house with us.

Our recent visit to this lovely beach house to celebrate a graduate of UNCW was most memorable! The house is lovely, well maintained ,spacious for our group of family &friends.....It was nice to have the amenities that were included... we would return without hesitation....

Lovely home, well maintained, had everything needed to make a pleasant stay (and lots of extras that we didn't have a chance to use, such as bikes, gas grill). The 5th bedroom with the single over double bunk is small, doesn't have a closet, and is not big enough for adults to use; but it is bright and cheerful, has a TV, and it would be a great room for children.

Perfect Beach Home

Wonderful family reunion at 5 Southridge Lane. The house met our needs perfectly and is equipped very nicely with everything you need. There are 3 Master Suite bedrooms, which is so nice because all families had privacy and comfort. The proximity to the beach is perfect, beach access is just steps away. This was our second year in this home and we hope to use the home again!

This is a beautiful home on the north end, I was very surprised and pleased with how clean everything was. The bikes were a pleasure to use. Towels and sheets already provided took the hassle out of our vacation. Great home, great location and I loved the backyard with hammock. Beach access is convenient and leads to a perfect spot, free of crowds (kid friendly) on the north end. Thank you so much we look forward to renting this property annually for years to come!

The house is beautiful and very clean and well appointed. We loved being close to the beach and appreciated the bikes and sand toys. We never could figure out the eletronic system so no music. We didn't appreciate the extra charge for "excessive sand" in the garage as we had no idea we should sweep the garage. We had sweep all the rest of the house before leaving.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We had such an awesome week doign a whole lot of talking, playing cards, going to the beach and surfing of course! Your house is unbelievable and you have made verything in the house JUST PERFECT! Its like living in the Pottery Barn House! The elevator was an awesome addition for the eldest of our family here (88 and 89 year old) The weather was perfect the whole week. We only left a few times to go to the tore the whole week only because we were out of food. We never wanted to leave :)

The Huckabees, It's hard to express how grateful we are for the pleasure of staying in this beautiful beach home. Our 4 year old found so many things to occupy his time, and our daughter and her boyfriend came over as much as they could. We all had such a wonderful stress free time. Oct 1 - 5, 2008 We just could NOT stay away! We were here on July 4 and had to return. Our family celebrated one of our son's birthdays here (Oct 2) and it was perfect! July 19 - 24, 2008 The house was AMAZING! So close to the beach we could feel the breeze. The beds were beyond comfortable and there is so much living space! We enjoyed the local cuisine to our hearts content! The KOWABUNGA surf lessons were great! Kenny (the instructor) took us to Masonboro Island on his boat for a scenic tour and we had the time of our life! The island was so private and peaceful! We will definitely be back soon! September 7 - 14, 2008 Wow! What a blessing! This week I FELL IN LOVE with Wrightsville Beach! The energy, the continuous array of physical fitness in every direction, every minute, every hour of every day. How incredible to have the privelege of raising your children in this most perfect environment. To say thank you for allowing our family to enjoy what is yours this week is not enough. With over 50 people here to celebrate my son, Britt's 22nd birthday and host our "Survivor Wrightsville" party was a celebration that we remember for years! The love in yuor home and the presence of God warmed our souls as the sun's rays warmed our skin. All the amenities here for our use made us feel at home in your home. I leave here so encouraged to succeed in my endeavors and be able to one day reside as Wrightsville Beach Residents! I would like to reserve yoru home again for our 25th anniversary next November 2009. June 30 - July 4, 2008 We LOVED the house, close to the beach adn friendly neighbors! We will definitely be back same time next year! We will also be back in Aug or Sept this year! June 2008 Dear Huckabee Family, What an absolutely beautiful home to vacation in! Our entire family on my side including grandma and grandpa got to spend a fabulous week together. The order for the day was going to the beach, eat, going to the beach, eat again, sit on the wonderful porches, eat dinner and then go to the beach until 9:00 when we had to leave because it was dark. We left our umbrellas and chairs down there all day and just went back and forth. When we did leave the house, we went to Mayfaire to shop at Rita's Italian Ice to get ice cream and gelatos! We marked two family moments while we were here. The only boy grandchild played in the Minor Leage Championship for his baseball team and WON! (11-2) He definitely had the biggest fan club at the ballpark. The other big family news is that one of my sisters realized that she was pregnant. WE WERE ALL SHOCKED! Her kids are 10 and 12 and ou rnext youngest grandchild is 6, almost 7. So, we are getting us a a new grandbaby in the family. Maybe it will be another boy since there is only 1 out of 7. My oldest sister insisted on getting us a house together so we would all be in the same place and we can make memories. We definitely did that! Drinking coffee (especially when we went to Port City Java) on those porches brough tup lots of memories and good times too from growing up days in Georgia! Thanks again! May many families share wonderful family times and mark their own moments here on South Ridge Lane. The Austin Clan Which also consists of The Ashcrafts, The Lloyds, and the Kuhnes. We love your home and the beach here! Soft sand and the water doesn't recede to far with low tide. Quick access to the beach make all the difference! The days were hot - but there was a nice breeze blowing - which not only added to our comfort, but also the sport of body surfing! You were so accommodating and stocked the house so well - Thank You!
