The property was as-advertised. It is located steps from Harrods and other great shopping. The Flat was clean. We bought an Oyster card and really took advantage of the nearby Tube Stop. The owners for this property were great to deal. Fantastic experience.

We had a great stay, the apartment was as described on the website and the photos were accurate. The owner was a joy and answered all e-mails promptly. Yes we would recommend this apartment to friends and if we were staying in this area of London we would rent this apartment again. The locations is great, easy access to the tube and plenty of shops nearby. The door man was most helpful and kind as well. One thing that would have been nice was to have a dinning room table not in the hall way, made it difficult to eat meals in.

Owner response:I was pleased this rental worked so well because we want to make the whole process as easy and friendly as possible. I tried to be clear in the listing and in all conversations that there is no separate dining room. The table is in the entry hall and does open easily and seats four comfortably==but most guests seem to go to one of the local restaurants after a long day of being a tourist.

This property met all our expectations and then some. It is decorated to a very high standard, is quite spacious and very comfortable. The onsite property manager was very helpful which we very much appreciated as our luggage took a detour and Matt was able to assist with its eventual delivery. The location is exactly as described - quiet street with easy access to the tube, buses, a wide array of restaurants and the shopping opportunities are endless. The owners are great to work with – and very accommodating. We have stayed in many flats the past 20+ years when travelling to London- and - Our search for the perfect London flat is now over – We will be back.

Beautiful Flat - Wonderful Location

This apartment exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully decorated, the rooms were much larger than they appear in the photos and had every convenience you could want! The location was perfect on a quiet street with just a 2 minute walk to the tube station, shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious Italian dinner across the street at Sale e Pepe's which I highly recommend. Bonnie was very helpful and the whole process went smoothly. The house managers were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again as it's the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing!

Your apartment was wonderful and has spoiled us for life. Everyplace we stay from now on will be compared to this. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great for the four of us and the large living room was a joy to relax in. The location is fantastic and all your information and tips were so helpful. Absolutedly top location; close to great shopping streets, tubes, Hyde Park; walking distance to terrific nearby ethnic resaurants, e.g. lebanese, indian, thai, french (well, not exactly ethnic!) etc. Even small grocery shopping only three blocks away. easy to get taxis. helpful porter.

The flat is fabulous, wonderfully appointed, and with every convenience. Everything works and is just as described by the owner. The location could not be better; it is near everything: Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, museums, the tube and bus stations. Food stores, banks, and a post office (great place to exchange currency) are within walking distance. The owner is gracious and flexible. We had a wonderful two weeks in this flat while visiting London and would gladly return another time.

We rented this apartment based on the recommendations, and by all it lived up and above our expectations. Fantastic Victorian interior and the location can't be any better right next to Knightbridge station, Harrods, Hyde Park, Sloan Street etc. etc. and not to forget the nice little cafe across the street. Can't wait to come back !

Wonderful Place to Stay!

When we first arrived at this lovely apartment, the décor compelled my six year old daughter to imagine she was a princess. This flat is classically beautiful, comfortable, tranquil, and located right down the street from Harrod’s, with Hyde Park only a short walk away. We enjoyed relaxing in the living room and listening to classical music after a busy day of touring. We bought groceries from Harrod’s food halls and my husband cooked delicious meals in the well-appointed kitchen. We all slept very well here; probably better than any other place we stayed during our extensive travels through Europe. This was hands-down our favorite of all the places we stayed. The owner was wonderful to deal with; a great deal of information was provided about how to operate the appliances and TV, wireless, etc., as well as tips about places to go and things to do. In addition, the manager of the apartment house was extremely friendly and helpful. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do!

An oasis in the heart of Knightsbridge

I stayed here with two friends after an energetic trip through China, Mongolia and Russia and it was all that we had hoped for - beautifully appointed, peaceful and handy to everything. In no particular order, we appreciated the luxurious bed linen, the friendliness of the caretakers and the owners, the information on what to do and see in the area and further afield, the spaciousness and general ambience of the apartment, and the feeling of coming "home" each night to our own gorgeous place in London. We can't wait to go back for another dose of London living.

As three-time "repeat offenders" we can't rave enough about the apartment. This last week was like returning to a friend's home after a year's absence. It's location makes getting around London a snap. With Harrods and the Knightsbridge Tube station both about a block away, what else could you ask for?

What a lovely week we had in London and in Lincoln House. Lots of theatre, sites, music, walks, shopping and relaxing. Your flat could not have been more lovely. Besides what is obvious (the location, size, decor, warmth, thoughtfulness, cushy carpet) let me share a few of my favorite things. The view from the kitchen window of the flowers; the smells coming in the front window starting around 18:30 from the restaurant across the street; the sounds from the fire station; the gulls early in the morning; the light through the lace. We can't wait to return!!!

Very lovely and elegant flat with comfortable beds and furnishings and plenty of space for a family or two couples. Excellent location just steps from Knightsbridge tube, block to Harrods, restaurants close by including Cafe Rouge and Wagamama. Very upscale but also very warm and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our time in the flat and always looked forward to coming "home" at the end of the day. Both porters were friendly and helpful. This may sound strange but there's a lot of "love" in that flat and it wraps around you as soon as you walk in the door. I've honestly tried to think of what might have been missing but the owners have seen to every possible need. We left a few things behind such as maps, books and menus to local restaurants as did other guests before us. There are phones in nearly every room, a printer - fax machine, wifi and hardline connection, washer dryer, hair dryer and even a curling iron. The owners, Bonnie and John Cacavas are lovely and Bonnie was a dream to work with putting up with all my questions and emails and never once making me feel as though I had asked a silly question. I've stayed in many flats throughout London and so far this is my absolute favorite. I highly recommend this flat and I will definitely be returning.

I stayed at Lincoln House Spring of 2007. Absolutely the BEST location. Take the tube from Heathrow get off at Knightsbridge tube stop & you are just one block from this lovely apartment. All upscale shopping is within 2-3 blocks. Great food at your doorstep. Owners are lovely people and have taken care of every need. You can not go wrong here. Price might be a tad high but you will never regret it. Marcus

Excellent Flat!! The listing is an accurate description of the flat and it's facilities. The flat was totally ready for us when we arrived - neat, clean and very accommadating. Bonnie was superb to deal with and walked us through the entire process and made us feel very safe and certain of what we were getting. We had two adults and two teenage girls and the flat was the perfect amount of space. Nice living room with good space and a TV. The wirelss internet was good and we have three lap tops going at once with no problems. The kitchen was very functional and all appliances worked. Both bathrooms were good with very good showers and water pressure. No criticisms of the flat at all. The location is perfect - 1/2 block from Harrods, 1/2 block from Harvey Nicks - coffee shop right across the street, good restaurants within short walking distances. Most impotantly, 1/2 block from the Knightsbridge underground - great access to all of London. Enjoyed morning runs in Hyde Park, a short 5 minutes away. The location is very, very good. I would highly recommend this flat and we will certainly re-book this flat next time in London. Thanks Bonnie - the vacation was great.
