Eight-mile long, Little Lagoon is behind the unit, giving you water views from both bedrooms. Walk three blocks down to West Pass and use the crab nets and fishing poles from the unit to catch your dinner. There is also a sandbar where the water is shallow with no crashing waves - great for small children.
Sanibel's location is in West Beach, a mainly residential area 2.5 miles from Highway 59 - close to the action, yet giving you the feel of a more private beach. The Super Walmart on Ft. Morgan Road, about a 5-10 minute drive, has everything you will need for your vacation.
Sanibel 1705 provides: a beach cart, bath towels, 400 count linens on all beds, hand soap, dishwashing soap, and kitchen basics for cooking (salt/pepper, oil, basic spices). All you need to bring are your favorite bath soaps, personal toiletries, beach supplies and plenty of sunscreen.
The kitchen is outfitted with coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, dishtowels, basic utensils, dishes, glasses, cookware - all that you need to prepare a full meal.

Sanibel is actually owned by two families who live in the same area of The Woodlands, Texas. Coincindentally we all grew up in the Gulf Coast area (Pensacola and Mobile) and share the love of the Gulf Shores Beaches. Each of our families has 2 children. We absolutely love our Sanibel 1705 and have made it our second home we like to share with "friends."
