Picturesque 3 bedroom cottage on 5 acres of wooded land with private access to a quiet Lake Michigan beach. The property is located on a dead end street running along Lake Michigan a couple miles south of Saugatuck/Douglas. A creek runs through the property offering interesting views including a barn on the other side.

The home has been redecorated. Most furniture is new. Two bedrooms are in the main house with new mattresses. A third bedroom is in a guesthouse located a few steps from the back of the main house.

A large grassy area is located behind the house. Plenty of seating areas in the home. Sit on the enclosed front porch watching the world go by. Sit in the living area near the fireplace. Sit in the back room watching for wildlife in the backyard. Or sit outside on the deck where new chairs are available.

With Saugatuck and Douglas minutes away you will find plenty of shopping, antiquing, and dinning. Take a walk down the road or sit and watch a sunset. Whatever you like to do you will find this to be an ideal spot for rest and relaxation.

  • We truly enjoyed staying at this cottage. The accomodations are very welcoming, the decor is charming, and the beds are comfy! The beach is just a short walk away, and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Also, we took advantage of Saugatuck/Douglas - great restaurants, galleries and shopping! I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The cottage is very clean and has a very nice interior, making it a perfect vacation home. We will definately be back. The owners are very kind and easy to reach.   • This cottage is by-far the coziest, most welcoming, and relaxing getaway I have been to in a very long time. We celebrated a 30th birthday with a few friends and there was plenty of space to be comfortable! Even though we enjoyed this wonderful cottage in the winter, the beauty of the area and the property was unmistakable. We all took a walk to the beach even though snow was falling!!! The owner (Steve) could not have been more accommodating and warm. Everything down to the dishware and towels were delightful. We are absolutely coming back and could not have asked for a better place to stay!

  • Definitely worth the trip. The house is comfortable and charming. Very easy way to spend time with the beach being so close and the drive into town very short. Incredible property to walk and admire. I would definitely return.

  • We had a wonderful time. Your home is very comfortable and well appointed. The property, creek and barn are very picturesque and perfect for a quiet getaway week by Lake Michigan. Easy access to the beach was much appreciated. We'll be back!
