  There isn't enough space on this review to express how fantastic our week was at Permanent Vacation. We stayed here with 3 other couples during our wedding week. Even though there were 8 adults in the house, we never felt like it was crowded. The house is comfortably and beautifully decorated. We spent a great deal of time relaxing in the screened in porch and the wet bar area got a lot of use! The kitchen and dining room areas are perfect for family gatherings and meals. Our private beach chairs were always ready for us when we woke and we felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. All the rooms were very comfortable and the upstairs loft was perfect when football was on tv downstairs and the Emmy's were on upstairs! Angela, the owner, was very helpful and pleasent whenever we had any questions before our trip. And Helen, the property manager, was always available to answer our questions during our visit. I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. Thank you Angela, Permanent Vacation will always have a special place in our hearts. This is where our marriage started and we couldn't be happier

  We had a wonderful time at your house. It is gorgeous and loved the floor plan. It had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxing one. It was a family vacation which included an 85 yr.old down to a 3 yr. old. Everyone could retreat to their own private area of the house, if they wanted to. We loved being close to the pool, since our grand daughter doesn't like the ocean. I don't know where her parents went wrong with that. The only thing we experienced that we didn't like was biting flies. They were awful and we ended up dodging them the whole week. We visited Carillon twice in Sept. and had biting flies attack us so we decided not to come in Sept. anymore. Thanks again for opening up your lovely home for everyone to enjoy. Had a wonderful stay!

  Our family group of ten (10) stayed the week of June 16-23 of 2012 at 'Permanent Vadation' in Carillon Beach Florida. What can I say? It is a wonderful house in a great location!! We had a ball with plenty of room for all including an enfant and a two year old and all their stuff!! We have all started looking forward to next year.

  Our family shared the most memorable vacation ever. The views were breath taking, the kids were never bored, and our family really had the most memorable times on this vacation. Permanent Vacation was beautiful...it served our every need with our family ranging in ages 2-80. Everyone is making plans for next year. We loved the large decks, the views of the gulf and the lake, and the entertainment that we could listen to from the balcony. The fireworks were breathtaking....what an awesome vacation. Cannot wait until next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

  We LOVED "Permanent Vacation"! I would have chosen "Excellent" instead of "Good" if the A/C had worked (or had been repaired before our visit as the repair man said there was a repair order since early March...something on it had completely coroded). We called on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but we did not have a working A/C until Thursday night (we left Friday). Although it was perfect weather outside, it was very hot and stuffy inside (75-78*). It was so hot inside that the icing on my birthday cake melted off the side of the cake. I insisted on paying a premium for a house like yours right on the beach with beautiful decor, but...it's very difficult to pay a premium and not have a basic luxury such as cool air. I was upset about the a/c because it was my birthday...because it's really hard to keep a smile and put makeup on while your sweating...and because b/c we traveled with two other families and I was the one who chose this house out of the thousands we looked back in January and I felt repsonsible. Other than being extremely disappointed about the a/c, the house was beautiful, I loved the decor, and the neighborhood exceded our expectations...everything else was perfect!

We take great personal pride in our beautiful beachfront dream house and we are glad that you appreciate our home and our décor that we keep updated and fresh. Since our home is located gulf front on “the world’s most beautiful beaches”, there are many environmental challenges related to our salty environment, including corrosion. We cannot control unforeseen mechanical issues, however, the a/c unit was repaired on both days you called for separate and unrelated issues. There was never an outstanding repair order though we do have a contract for regular A/C preventive maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience and are grateful that this did not occur during our warmer summer months. Because of your unique situation, we have already upgraded and replaced our entire a/c system. Everything is working perfectly!

  After staying at Permanent Vacation several times, I found it to be the most beautiful and relaxing place I have ever stayed. The beautiful atmosphere, the blue-green water, and the comfortable home decor made it the most spectacular vacation ever. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We will definitely be back!

  We stayed in this lovely house this summer. It is well stocked and has plenty of room for two families. The decor and furniture is updated and well thought out. The decks off the main family room and the master suite are awesome for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The owner was very nice and responsive. It was a pleasure to work with her. I would highly recommend permanent vacation for those who are looking for an updated, clean and well stocked beachfront home. We loved it so much we are coming back in 2012 to stay in it again.

  My family and I were so thrilled with "Permanent Vacation" ! April 30, 2011 Brandi and Mike were married at Carillon and we were so excited! We arrived and were greeted with the fantastic views as soon as we walked through the door. It just kept getting better as we were able to enjoy the beach, the weather was perfect and we were only a few hundred feet from Walkover 7 where the wedding took place. Plenty of room for the 10 of us to get ready. Easy walking distance to everything. Even the twenty somethings commented on how at home they felt there and that we could not have picked a better home to stay in. We hope to make this an annual event to mark their anniversary. There isn't anything that I could have asked more of... The owner was very helpful with information, the property manager was right on the spot with any questions when we arrived. And the people at Carillon were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to be right on the beach!   The house was perfect for our family vacation of twelve people. Everyone had enough space, everyone loved it. My granddaughter, who is three, did not want to leave. The house has everything you need. Perfect location
