  We were pleased to be able to spend another relaxing long weekend in this delightful cottage. The cottage is immaculately clean, cozy and well appointed and is located in a forest setting a few steps from the water's edge. It offers the opportunity for a completely private getaway or a stay full of island activities. The owners are travellers and outdoor enthusiasts and are well informed about all of the island's activities, restaurants and artisans. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone considering a stay on beautiful Gabriola! The island and its residents exude a peaceful West Coast charm which will bring you back again and again.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  Dear Suzanne and Dick: What a magical month I have experienced on this beautiful island. Thank you for helping me to make my "experimental" retirement a positive experience. Your wonderful cottage has been the perfect place to relax after my days of exploring and adventuring. A beautiful island filled with warm and welcoming people. I hope one day to call it home.

  Thank you Dick and Suzanne for your hospitality. Our stay in this beautiful little cottae was a perfect break in our vacation visiting the big cities and the northwest. The atmosphere here is so serene, we leave here feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Your tast and attention to detail is impeccable, and the extra help and attention you gave us is much appreciated.   What a fabulous place to come and spend a few days of R & R! Your cottage was just perfect for us. We enjoyed reading by the little read stove, had a BBQ one night, walked a bit of the beach, saw some local art, had a great dinner at the A Frame-highly recommended! Great to meet both of you! Hope to be back again!
