Memorial Park is a beautiful 67 acre park just off of Dodge Street. It's home to a large fireworks display on the 4th of July and also home to concerts and other activities during the summer months.
The Gene Lahey Mall (located in downtown Omaha's Old Market) has a magical display of holiday lights during the winter months. If you or your loved one is looking for a way to spend the New Year, this is a wonderful opportunity! The lights illuminate over 50 trees around downtown Omaha, along with the very festive trimmings in store windows.
