This is a 6800 square foot, waterfront beach home that is richly and tastefully decorated through-out and centrally located between Los Angeles, Long Beach and John Wayne airports.
The home is located on the Peninsula of Long Beach, and is very much consider the ideal place to call home or to enjoy a relaxed getaway.
ABOUT THE PROPERTY
There are five large bedrooms that can accomodate a large family. The first bedroom, on the first floor, has a kingsize bed, mirror closets, Direct-HD TV and adjacent full bathroom...The second bedroom is on the second floor, it has a kingsize bed, mirror closets, outdoor patio, Direct-HD TV and connecting full bathroom...the third bedroom has a kingsize bed, Direct-HD TV, outdoor patio and adjacent full bathroom. The fourth bedroom has twin beds, Direct-TV and adjecent full bath. If additional sleeping accomodations are needed, there are 3 twin air mattresses, one in each of the these bedrooms.
The fourth bedroom, the entire third floor, is the grand master suite that has a large sitting area, fireplace, reading area, exercise room(eliptical machine & treadmill) Goliath Temper-Pedic Bed (96x84) Direct-HD TV, computer and internet acces, walk in shower, wet sauna, its own semi private balcony over looking the ocean and city skyline, a large private sun deck for private sunbathing. The private sun deck leads to the roof top that has a 360 degree view of the ocean, bay and city.
In addition, there are two family rooms, each with its own fireplace and Direct-HD TV, living room, reading area, pool table room, sit down bar, formal dinning room and large kitchen. There is also a large interior laundry room and a five car attached garage.
The property has telephone service and high speed internet access(wire-less and hard wired) along with Direct-HD TV in most of the rooms. For elderly or the disable, there is an elevator that will take you to all three floors.
The views from the property are absolutely spectacular. You will enjoy Pelicans diving into the water, Dolphins swimming in the ocean, and windsurfers doing what they do. The sunsets overlooking the downtown skyline are postcard perfect.
BEACH ACTIVITIES
The beach area is very clean and the property is four homes away from a lifeguard station. The beach does not get large waves but if you wanted to surf, a short(10 mins.) walk to Seal Beach is where most of the surfing is done. Another alternative to the beach is the Bay, about half block from the property, where you will find small children and their parents enjoying water activies.
You can walk, ride your bikes (adult(2) & children(4) available at prop) skate or roller blade for miles along the board walk that turns into a cement path (the strand) that goes on for miles and ends at the Queen Mary where you will find PF Chang, Yard House and other upscale restaurants and shopping. You can do Kayaking in the bay (available at prop...3 person) fish or wind surf just outside your doors. For the romantic ones, you can take the Gandola through Naples Island and experience the sunset for yourself over wine and cheese. Or, you can enjoy the sand and beach and relax the day away.
There are many nice restaurants, boutique and coffee shops and hang out places for your enjoyment that are all walking distance from the property. In short, there are many things for the adults and kids to do while on vacation.
