The Koru House is a luxury 3400 sq foot 4 bedroom plus loft home that was professionally renovated and decorated in 2008. It offers a perfect getaway for 1-2 families. It is bright and sunny with room to spread out and enjoy the lavish "Cowboy High-Style" furnishings and beautiful décor.
We are taking bookings now for fall 2010 and winter 2010/2011. We will consider monthly or seasonal rentals for the winter.
From the entrance lobby the home immediately opens up to a large great room. The kitchen has granite benches, a third sink, high-end, stainless steel appliances complete with a double oven and breakfast bar with seating for four. The dining area has seating for ten people and opens into the large living room with a gorgeous rock, wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD and stereo. Just outside of the living room is a sunny deck and a private, outdoor hot tub. The south wall of the great room is a beautiful solarium allowing ample sunlight and warmth to flow into the house.
There are three bedrooms on the ground floor. The master bedroom is large, with a king bed, TV, door leading to the hot tub and a fabulous ensuite bathroom with a double vanity, walk in closet and soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom is a smaller room with a daybed and trundle. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom. There is also a utility room with washer and dryer on the main level.
Upstairs is a large loft with a sitting area, flat screen TV and DVD player. There are two twin beds with trundles in the loft, and a sofa/sleeper. There is a fourth bedroom on this level with a queen bed and walk in closet. The bedroom and loft share a full bathroom.
The Koru house is located in the Aspens neighborhood on a private 3/4 acre wooded lot, with a sunny lawn. A two-car attached garage is available for your use. There is close access to a grocery store/deli, wine shop, restaurant and the Teton Sports Club, with tennis, swimming pool and fitness center Only 5 miles to Teton Village, 5.5 miles to downtown Jackson, 18 miles to the Jackson airport, and 6 miles to Grand Teton National Park. The paved bike trail (from Wilson to Teton Village) runs right by the neighborhood; we often bike down to Teton Village in the summer to enjoy free concerts, ride the tram or gondola to the mountaintop, have the kids go bungee jumping, or ride the lifts for some mountain biking.

Why the Owner Chose Jackson
The Aspens is a great neighborhood for a vacation. Quiet streets and wooded lots, with occasional wildlife sightings in the neighborhood (moose in the back yard!) Just a few minutes walk to tennis courts, athletic club and swimming pool, and the deli/grocery and wine store. About a 5 minute drive to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for skiing or summer activities. The West Bank bike trail goes right past the neighborhood; we often ride bikes don to Wilson or to the Mountain Resort in the summer, to enjoy a free concert or ride the tram or gondola.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The home is in a lovely setting, with a private sunny yard and deck. The home is large, light and tastefully redecorated. Plenty of room for 1 -2 families.
Great local market, just a short walk or drive from home
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort; North America's best skiing, plus summertime activities, including Tram and Gondola rides, kids activities (rock climbing, bungee jumping), mountain biking, music festival, free Sunday concerts
This beautiful drive through the southern part of Grand Teton National Park is great for wildlife sightings, including moose and sometimes bear. Road closed in winter.

After traveling to many parts of the US, we decided that Jackson hole was without doubt our favorite getaway location. We love the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National parks and the abundance of outdoor activity they enable, and the fantastic skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain resort throughout the winter.We think our home has the best possible location, in a lovely residential neighborhood adjacent to the mountain range, close to skiing, Grant Teton National Park and downtown Jackson

We came for quilting in the Tetons and enjoyed your home so much. Great week! Saw moose in the yard; leaves turn, great walks in the morning. We sewed in your sunroom, laughed, talked, shared what we learned in class. Great place; thank you for sharing. We came from Texas, Washington, Montana, Colorado.

What an amazing cabin! Thank you for letting us stay here! It was awesome to watch a moose and a deer come in to our back yard. .....we came from all over - California, Colorado. I hope the next group has as much fun as us!

Best vacation ever! We were privileged to see and watch for hours a mother and baby moose in our back yard. House is fantastic and the area is unbelievable. Thanks for a great vacation.
