Situated at the foot of Mount Sainte Victoire in the countryside of the delightful village of Rousset, the property is nestled among sunflower fields and vineyards and surrounded by cypress rows. ’La Galéjade’s tower is a 70m2 modern Provencal 3-story stone house ("MAS"), a fully equipped apartment with an independent access. On the private pebbled terrace accessing the garden, a mosaic table for 6 calls for company among charming pots of lavender, rosemary, thyme and geraniums. From here, French doors open out onto the front entrance of the apartment.The new kitchen is fitted out in modern style with all necessities. Furnishings in the living area include a comfortable sofa which can be converted into an extra bed if needed, two individual armchairs, a desk, and a unit holding the satelite TV, sound system and DVD player.

Upstairs on the first floor you’ll find the romantic master bedroom, looking out over the pool and onto the surrounding vines. On this floor also find the bathroom with oversized corner bathtub and separate shower, hand basin and washing machine. The second floor features another large bedroom holding one double and one single bed with an even better view over Provencal countryside.

Enjoy strolling or cycling in countryside lanes surrounding the property or take a promenade in a beautiful 5000 m2 garden of La Galejade along rose alleys, in the cedar grove or in the fruit orchard and pick fresh fruits from La Galejade's own trees. There are also areas for your active leisure in the garden where you may play a game of petangue in the boule court, volleyball on the lawn field, badminton or the ping pong. For simple relaxation, you can just laze around by the pool for the afternoon.

La Galejade is a good strategic point from which you can visit all the attractions. Aix-en-Provence, renowned for its fountains, and visual arts and music festivals is just 15 kms away. Just a half hour away, you can enjoy guided or self guided tours to the magical beauty of the Luberon Mountains and Durance Valley. The world renowned French beaches of Cassis, Bandol and Saint-Tropez are just an hour’s drive from Rousset. The closest airport is in Marseille (30 min drive), while Nice Airport is under 2 hours away.
