This is a BEAUTIFULLY appointed, spacious 6 bedroom, 5 bath private home in Trappers Ridge within Wolf Creek Resort in the Upper Ogden Valley. The home sleeps 14 COMFORTABLY in beds for an awesome family reunion or group vacation. The panoramic view of the Wasatch Front of the Rocky Mountains is spectacular! Beyond Pineview Reservoir, where you can spend a glorious day boating, fishing, ice fishing or just relaxing, is world-class Snow Basin ski mountain (12 MILES). Powder Mountain is just a short 5 mile drive up the canyon which provides nighttime skiing. Powder Mountain's snow is all natural, no man made and they receive about 500 inches a year. Don’t let all the powder scare you. It is the best intermediate mountain around. Wolf Mountain can be seen from most areas in the Valley. It offers nighttime skiing. Why the Owner Chose Eden
Before building our home in Trappers Ridge we would travel to Colorado to ski. It was never easy to get to our destination. One Thanksgiving we decided to try Utah. We flew in to Salt Lake City International Airport. One hour drive to Eden seemed SO easy to us. Once we got there we had absolutely everything we needed. Snowbasin Resort was a quick 12 mile drive across the Valley and Powder Mountain was just a 5 mile shuttle ride to the lodge. We loved the variety of restaurants the Valley offered. And we loved that there was not a traffic light in Eden Valley! An extremely relaxing ski vacation was the result and therefore we decided this was it for us! We hope you agree! The Unique Benefits at this House
We decorated our home with the thought that families may want to host reunions there. Having the two floors gives everyone their own space. We decided to provide a bunk room upstairs because kids love having "sleepovers", especially while on vacation. The bunk room sleeps 6 which is quite fun for kids. We have a game table where the family can play games or do puzzles.
We thought it would be nice when coming in from a long day of outdoor sports, to be able to drop all wet clothes & equipment in a special "ski closet", instead of dragging everything into the house. We built a separate room in the garage that is heated so by the next morning everyone's clothes & boots are toasty dry, ready for the day. It has worked out just great! Of course jumping into the hot tub after unloading is just perfect!
Being Interior Designers we have decorated the house with your comfort in mind. All the mattresses are top quality as are the linens. We know after a long day of being outdoors that there is nothing better than a warm, comfy bed to lay your head and rest your muscles. We think you will be pleasantly surprised. So come along...enjoy the comforts of our home while you are on vacation! It is your home away from home!

My father grew up in Ogden, UT and I have fond memories as a child visiting my grandparents each year. I brought my wife to Utah to show her how spectacular the views of the mountains were. She fell in love with it and we decided we would build a home there. In 2005 we furnished our home and decided to share it with other families...enter VRBO!
It has become our family trip tradition.
I am a nationwide General Contractor who specializes in retail interiors. My wife has been in the Interior Design business for a number of years. We have 10 retail stores on the East Coast as well. We live full time in Alpharetta, GA and have four kids. Three have flown the coop and we have one more son who is still in high school. We bring the family out each year for a family gathering. In the future we plan on spending a lot more time in Eden!

My family stayed in this home for three nights. It was perfect for our family (6 grown children, some spouses, and grandchildren); the grandchildren loved playing upstairs and in the hot tub while the adults relaxed and chatted in the living room. The home is beautifully appointed and well equiped. We prepared and served Thanksgiving Dinner without a hitch because of a well equiped kitchen. Although we live in the Salt Lake area, we felt we were away on vacation because Eden is so beautiful and peaceful. We hope to stay again at this location and Amy was delightful to work with; very accomodating.

Beautiful home and location as description states! This was the perfect rental for our family reunion while attending our son's wedding in Liberty UT. All ages, 9 months to 95, were comfortable in this spacious, tastefully decorated home. Everyone had the privacy of their own bedroom and bath but could gather in the two common areas to talk and laugh together. Special highlights were clean beautifully decorated accommodations, comfortable beds, soft linens, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor grill and patio, community pool. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect summer vacation! The homeowner was a delight to work with. Side note: Harley and Bucks Restaurant in the neighborhood was an excellent choice for our son's rehearsal dinner.

Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful vacation home. We enjoyed a great family reunion at your Trapper's Ridge unit. Our family ranges from little ones to several retirees and this location provided something for everyone. The unit itself was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. It had all the creature comforts of home! The Trapper's Ridge development offers incredible vistas of Ogden Valley including views of Pineview reservoir, Snowbasin resort, historic Huntsville, and the Wasatch mountains. Trapper's Ridge also has a great clubhouse which includes a nice pool, hot tub and sports court. Within 20-30 minutes drive visitors can enjoy Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, the Eccles Dinosaur Park, Hill Airforce Base Museum, theaters, etc. There are also many hiking and biking trails and the nearby Pineview reservoir. We had an incredible stay. Thanks again!

This was our family's 4th trip to Powder Mountain and by far the best place we have stayed. The house is wonderful--Big bedrooms with very comfortable beds, great bathrooms with tile and marble, three car garage with heated ski closet. We had a total of 10 people representing 3 different families and it was very comfortable. The private hot tub is nice and the hot tub at the community clubhouse is huge. We highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. We shared the home with two other families and had plenty of room for everyone. The house had plenty pf amentities and was well furnished. The heated ski closest inside the garage was great to store ski equipment after spending a day on the slopes. Then enjoying the hot tub afterwards was great. The kids could watch TV upstairs while the adults could relax and talk downstairs. And the drive to the slopes was close enough that we could come home for lunch each day. I would recommend this home to anyone!

This house was great and the service was spectacular (I know...I said service). What I mean by that is we had a fire alarm with a low battery when we got there so I called Amy (owner) and it was practically like Mr. Deeds - someone was there to fix it what seemed like before I was off the phone with her. Nice house with comfy beds, large dining table works great for groups and open floor plan with HIGH ceilings on the main floor. Everyone was impressed with the home. Also the garage is great size if you happen to need to partk multiple vehicles.
