Very private location on a 1.4 acre compound at the end the point. Deck built directly over the water. This "Deck House" has an open environment with a large modern kitchen (electr. stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, refrig w/ice maker and water-on-door), dining room and living room featuring all new thermopane doors and winodws. Year Purchased: 2007
I have lived on this street for 52 years. This estate (1.4 acres with two homes) became available in 2007, after being in owned by one family since 1946. We now summer in the smaller, two-bedroom home on the property. Typically we are present Friday - Sunday and work in Boston for the balance of the week.
Why the Owner Chose Centerville
The A/C is new (2010) and consists of three Mitsubishi, heat-pump, wall-pack units. There are ceiling fans throughout. All windows and doors are new, thermopane (2009-2010), have sccreens and are operable. Floors throughout are vinyl or Pergo with some area rugs. there is a separate laundry room with w/d and rinse-out sink.
The Unique Benefits of this House
1.4 acres located on Lake Wequaket, the second largest, fresh-water lake on Cape Cod featuring 9 +/- miles of shoreline. This home was built (1957) on land with its deck literally over the water. A spectactular site for this three bedroom home. There is an 80 foot long dock renters can tie-up boats to, as well as use of the private boat launch located on the property. This is only the third year this unique spot and home have been available for weekely rentals.
