This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has been remodeled with new wood flooring, carpeting and fresh paint. It also has a very large deck ideal for entertaining or relaxing as you look out on the beautiful and tranquil waters of Lake Sinclair. Kitchen has gas stove, dishwasher, microwave and a washer & dryer. There is a fully stocked kitchen - so no need for pots, pans or utensils.
You will enjoy the breathtaking quarter mile and mile long views from the huge lakeside dock. The property is located on the main section of Lake Sinclair just a short 1.5 mile boat ride to Crooked Creek Marina that features a wonderful restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (may be closed during the winter).
There are few places where you will experience such a private surrounding. Only one neighbor can be seen from the property. This is a wonderful place for those who want to get away and not be disturbed. Many nights have been spent around a campfire with a cold beverage and no worries of disturbing anyone.
There are plenty of activities in the area: You can enjoy a day hike down the county roads or through the woods. Fishing is a must anytime of the year; you will have no problem catching bass, crappie and catfish. Bring a boat, pack a lunch and take a day cruise to one of the many islands around the lake. Be sure you include the swimsuit in your luggage; you will want to jump in the lake to cool off during those nice summer days.

LINENS: Linens and Towels are NOT provided but can be included for an additional $30 to cover professional laundering. (6 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 6 wash clothes, Queen bed set, Full bed set and 2 Twin bed sets. Beach towels will not be provided.)
NOTES: This property is secluded and several miles from shopping - you will want to get your groceries before you arrive. There are no functioning dock lights – bring lanterns if you wish to fish at night. There is no phone but cell reception is OK. Items you need to remember: charcoal for the grill, life jackets, floats, flash light, sun screen, bug repellent, beach chairs, beach towels, DVD's, food and ice.

Year Purchased: 2005
This photo was taken in Maui just a month prior to us purchasing the Linda Edwards property. A little about ourselves: The three of us attended Georgia Southern University but did not meet until after graduation. We meet through a mutual friend and immediately became very close. Paul works for the Department of Transportation and lives in Atlanta with his wife Lynn. Alan is a real estate agent selling property primarily on Lake Sinclair. Stephania moved to Chicago in 2007 where she lives with her husband Tim. She is employed by an insurance software company.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Sinclair
In 2005 the three of us made a decision to purchase a home on Lake Sinclair. There were numerous homes we viewed and even made a couple of offers before this property came available. The home was in great condition but we decided to make some upgrades to improve on the overall appearance of the home. The property is so private that we could have the peace of mind that if we decided to have a late night bon fire we would not disturb our neighbors. Let me tell you, we have had our share of them with no complaints.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love to have a campfire by the lake during the cooler nights. Wood can be gathered down the many dirt roads and in adjacent GA Power property. Fishing is incredible all year round and you are sure to catch a lot of Channel Catfish and Crappie. There are plenty of dirt roads to explore by car or bike. You can also take a day hike through the woods or down a country road.
It is certainly a place where you can “get away from it all” and spend quality time with friends and family. Start a bon fire and make smores, spend hours out on the lake dock or lounge on the full length deck.
