Perfect Ekahi condominium, tastefully renovated! Bamboo hardwood floors recently installed in the living area. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom. Wireless Internet in the unit if you just have to stay connected! (What kind of vacation is that?) Ipod player, so bring your music. Sleeps 4 in comfort, with 2 full bathrooms. Center lower unit in building 13, so no stairs to deal with, and a short, level walk from the parking lot. Large lanai (with 2 chaise lounges, a loveseat, gas barbeque, table and 4 chairs) opens directly onto a lawn. Quiet and secluded adult pool close by, and the family pool, pavilion, and Keawakapu beach are just a few steps beyond.
Ekahi is probably Wailea's best condominium development - conveniently located, beautifully kept, with excellent on-site management, and friendly (but very alert) security. It is less than 18 miles or 30 minutes from Kahului airport. You'll find yourself driving slowly, just to soak in the feeling of being on the island!

We bought this unit from delightful long-term resident owners.
Lauren personally supervised a major remodel of it, adding exquisite
furnishings and air conditioning! She updates it every 6 months,
recently installing bamboo hardwood floors in the living area and new cabinet facings in the kitchen and bathrooms.
I was delighted when I found out recently that Ekahi had been designed by the highly-respected San Francisco architectural firm of Esherick, Homsey, Dodge and Davis. As an architectural researcher, I wrote an article several years ago on their founder Joe Esherick.

David and Lauren, we had such a nice stay in your condo during our vacation last week. It really did exceed our expectations and it was better than depicted in the photos and in the descriptions. What made it so comfortable for us was that your unit didn't feel like a rental - it felt like a home. Usually linens, towels, furniture, etc, in a rental show signs of wear but everything in your unit was good quality, fresh and impeccably clean. We also appreciated your responsiveness and professionalism during the rental process. The location was perfect for us - it was quiet and out-of-the way and we could walk to Wailea shops and restaurants and yet it was also really convenient to access roads and highways to explore the island and to go snorkeling. Thanks again and we hope to return soon.

Ekahi has an excellent location in Wailea on one of the best beaches on Maui. Our stay in 13B really did exceed our expectations. Based on the photos the unit looked very nice. It was even better in person and the views were incredible and panoramic. We enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out on the large lanai enjoying the sweeping ocean view. The condo itself is one of the most well maintained condos we have ever seen. Housekeeping is exceptional. The renovation seems very fresh with a very elegant tropical feel. There is a small pool within a few steps of the lanai of 13B. There is a larger pool right down next to the beach. Getting to the beach from building 13 is a very short walk through the beautifully landscaped property. Everything you possibly need for the beach is provided - umbrella, chairs, towels, cooler, beach bag, etc. David is one of the most responsive owners we have rented from in our experience with properties listed on the VRBO web site. Explains why the availability calendar is showing lots of bookings. I think this unit is going to be seeing many repeat guests!

My husband and I recently rented this unit for our honeymoon in Maui, in lieu of a hotel room... we did not regret it one bit! The unit is spacious and luxurious. Kitchen had everything we needed, and more! The owners were very thoughtful in furnishing the unit with odds and ends you might need during your stay, and we very much appreciated it! Once we arrived at the condo we were immediately impressed, the photos on this site do not do it justice. We hope to visit again soon!

Weather was excellent which added to the experience. We had a number of friends staying in other condos there at the same time. This one had a far better space for when people drop around, including being able to wander directly out to the wonderful lawns off the lanai. As well as being well maintained it had all the beach/pool stuff you would need. Very helpful guidebook provided information on local attractions, essential shopping etc Really recommend Flyin Hawaiin Ziplining and the drive to the crater.

Peaceful and luxurious. Very nice high-end decor in the house. The towels were thick and fluffy. Nicely appointed furnishings. Luxurious bed linens. The unit is very quiet. The kitchen has everything you need. The walk down to the beach was vigorous, yet scenic. The beach at Ekahi is quiet and lovely. We had a really nice stay here. The owners were quick to respond to our emails. Very easy to rent.

My husband and I spent a week at Ekahi 13B in October. A beautifully furnished condo that had every ammenity you would need. The condo was an easy walk to the beach and the sunsets from the patio were spectacular. A fabulous place to relax and unwind for a week.

Our stay at 13B in June was amazing! The unit is beautiful, from the panoramic ocean views to the upscale interior design. They have also included all the conveniences of home. We spent many mornings and evenings on the expansive, private and peaceful lanai. The Ekahi landscaping and the awesome beach are what we hoped for in a Wailea property. Can't even say enough great things about this unit. The furnishings are 5-star with a lanai that you'll be dreaming about long after you've come home. The owners have thought of everything. All you have to do is relax and enjoy. Highest recommendations.
