  Although I am very late in writing this review, it is in no way a reflection of our stay at this beautiful condo. It has taken me this long, because finding the right words to explain perfection can be difficult. We came for our anniversary and loved every moment of our stay. The condo itself is absolutely wonderful, and is luxurious without feeling aloof. Instead there is feeling of home every time you walk through the door. The location is wonderful and nothing is too far away. Both the higher end shopping and hotels of Wailea and the relaxed vibe of Kihei are close by, while still having a feeling of being away from it all when you come "home". The beach is just a short walk away and has amazing snorkeling in the morning. The afternoon is great for body surfing and boogie boarding. This condo is a fabulous retreat for both couples and families with small children. Although we left our little ones at home for this trip, we couldn't help to think of them during our stay. This condo with the pull out bed would have served our children nicely. There are 4 pools on site and little ones could easily enjoy plenty of water time between that and the beach. The patio is a great place to enjoy a home made dinner of local ingredients from the market in Kihei. It is also one the best spots to enjoy a Mai Tai while watching the sunset. Looking out the window from the master bedroom to the patio was like living in a picture postcard every morning. If you are looking for a place to stay in Maui, this is the spot. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly! Relaxing, beautiful, quiet without feeling isolated, plenty of things to do right outside your door and a true feeling of "aloha"! "Aloha is an explanation of our place in the world and a code of ethics to help us with our interactions in the world. Using Hawaiian language grammatical rules, we will translate this literally as "The joyful sharing of life energy in the present" or simply "Joyfully sharing life"." Thank you again for a wonderful memory! We can't wait to come back and add more!

  Our family of four stayed in this condo during spring break. We loved it! The unit is well-stocked and kept up in very good condition. While at the condo, we spent most of our time on the lanai. It is very open, with a near-panoramic view of the ocean. The unit's location is great within Ekahi Village (easy 2 minute walk to main pool/beach). Our family had a great time, we would definitely recommend this unit.

  Have stayed at this condo before and always find it well kept, furnished with all the necessities needed for a wonderful holiday. Close to the beach and beautifully manicured property. Always hate to leave this beautiful place.

  Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The view from the lanai of the ocean was priceless. Short walk to long sandy beach that my kids and I played and snorkeled all day. My favorite vacation rental ever.

  David and Lauren, we had such a nice stay in your condo during our vacation last week. It really did exceed our expectations and it was better than depicted in the photos and in the descriptions. What made it so comfortable for us was that your unit didn't feel like a rental - it felt like a home. Usually linens, towels, furniture, etc, in a rental show signs of wear but everything in your unit was good quality, fresh and impeccably clean. We also appreciated your responsiveness and professionalism during the rental process. The location was perfect for us - it was quiet and out-of-the way and we could walk to Wailea shops and restaurants and yet it was also really convenient to access roads and highways to explore the island and to go snorkeling. Thanks again and we hope to return soon.

  Ekahi has an excellent location in Wailea on one of the best beaches on Maui. Our stay in 13B really did exceed our expectations. Based on the photos the unit looked very nice. It was even better in person and the views were incredible and panoramic. We enjoyed spending lots of time hanging out on the large lanai enjoying the sweeping ocean view. The condo itself is one of the most well maintained condos we have ever seen. Housekeeping is exceptional. The renovation seems very fresh with a very elegant tropical feel. There is a small pool within a few steps of the lanai of 13B. There is a larger pool right down next to the beach. Getting to the beach from building 13 is a very short walk through the beautifully landscaped property. Everything you possibly need for the beach is provided - umbrella, chairs, towels, cooler, beach bag, etc. David is one of the most responsive owners we have rented from in our experience with properties listed on the VRBO web site. Explains why the availability calendar is showing lots of bookings. I think this unit is going to be seeing many repeat guests!

  My husband and I recently rented this unit for our honeymoon in Maui, in lieu of a hotel room... we did not regret it one bit! The unit is spacious and luxurious. Kitchen had everything we needed, and more! The owners were very thoughtful in furnishing the unit with odds and ends you might need during your stay, and we very much appreciated it! Once we arrived at the condo we were immediately impressed, the photos on this site do not do it justice. We hope to visit again soon!

  Weather was excellent which added to the experience. We had a number of friends staying in other condos there at the same time. This one had a far better space for when people drop around, including being able to wander directly out to the wonderful lawns off the lanai. As well as being well maintained it had all the beach/pool stuff you would need. Very helpful guidebook provided information on local attractions, essential shopping etc Really recommend Flyin Hawaiin Ziplining and the drive to the crater.

  Peaceful and luxurious. Very nice high-end decor in the house. The towels were thick and fluffy. Nicely appointed furnishings. Luxurious bed linens. The unit is very quiet. The kitchen has everything you need. The walk down to the beach was vigorous, yet scenic. The beach at Ekahi is quiet and lovely. We had a really nice stay here. The owners were quick to respond to our emails. Very easy to rent.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  What can I say - oh my gosh! Gorgeous - gorgeous - gorgeous! The furnishings are stunning and the views from the lanai are spectacular. We spent so many hours on the lanai looking at that view. David was a dream to work with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Holly and Jim Seattle, WA
