Photo 1 - New Jersey Vacation Rentals This little bungalow maintains the features of what we think a beach house should have and what was common years ago. Large screened windows to let in the sea air, a cozy front porch to sit out on on the hot summer nights, trees everywhere to keep the house cool. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! The house sits two blocks from the bay and three blocks from the ocean and needs no artificial cooling. The ocean air is after all why we came here. We think that we restored the house to its original charm but added certain features that make it conducive to beach living and also to our own taste. A slate floor keeps the living room and kitchen cool(and feels great on bare feet) .The kitchen has red cabinets and stainless steel counters. The bathroom was newly tiled and the bedrooms have hard wood floors .There is a wonderful large backyard and an outdoor shower. Plants and trees are everywhere.(Most of which have been there since the house was built). If you have a large family and like air conditioning, this house is not for you.
