Despite Hurricane Irene causing a two day delay of the start of our vacation, our stay at Sea The Green was wonderful and extremely relaxing. Our first impression of the house was "Wow"!!! Not only is it beautifully decorated but it was spotless inside and out. We enjoyed every room in the house and spent many hours sitting out on the deck enjoying the views and the golfers. The pool and hot tub were used everyday. Watching the sunrise from the top deck was amazing. We also enjoyed all the amenities that the The Currituck Club had to offer. I can not think of anything that the house lacked and could probably go on and on about how wonderful it is.....but I will end by saying that we would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at "Sea the Green." I loved the community for morning runs. The lap pool was great for some exercise and the kids also had a blast in it. The beach was very nice and the trolley pickup in front of the house was surprisingly easier than driving (plus you keep all the sand out of your car!) over to the beach. There are a number of activities in the community that you can take advantage of like the outdoor movie at the pool. They have popcorn/candy/soda/etc. The kids loved it! Grocery stores are less than a mile away as are many other amenities. The owner of the property was great to work with. Very responsive and wants to make sure you enjoy your vacation.

This property is a great vacation rental, located close to the beach and has an amazing private pool large enough to accommodate the number of people the home can hold. The owners are very nice and provided great customer service, the property is very clean and can accommodate 12 people with very comfortably. Would recommend this property to family and friends.

We selected this property due to the size of the home, cleanliness, and location in Corolla. It is located in a great gated community, The Currituck Club. The home was beautiful, and very comfortable for us. A trolley runs right out front, if you want to go to the beach. With 3 small kids, we only went to the beach a couple of days--as they were perfectly content with the huge 75ft lap pool in the rear of the home. Bruce, the owner, was FANTASTIC to work with. He was available to answer any questions, and provided some suggestions on the area. I would absolutely recommend this property! Our whole family had a GREAT time, and will return!

Inside of house was great, plenty of room and very clean. Outside by pool area has way to many spider webs, wasp ( child got stung twice ) birds nest ect., really needs cleaned up. Way to far from beach, trolly took a LONG time to get to beach then you had to walk 300+ yards That area has limited access to the beach and the ocean water temp.(June) was HYPOTHERMIC !

This is a beautiful house in a great location. The house was very spacious and had all the ammenities that we needed. The bedrooms (with private bathrooms) were clean and well decorateded. Both the top floor common rooms and the numerous private and shared decks provide great views of the golf course, sunset/rises and ocean. Several laps in the 75 foot lap pool and a 15 mile roundtrip bike ride to Corolla and back was a great way to start each day! The house sits near the top of one of the larger hills in the community which provides good views and allows for a stronger breeze throughout the day which keeps the insects at bay. Currituck is one of the nicer golf courses in the OBX. We played in the afternoon and fought the flies on a couple of the holes (wasn't as big of a problem the next day when we applied bug spray). One of the things that impressed me the most was the owner. Bruce was great to work with and was always available. You can tell that he takes a lot of pride in the upkeep of the house and wants his renters to enjoy their time there. Would definitely recommend Sea the Green to family and friends a.

We spent a week at Sea the Green and could not have asked for a better location. My wife and I (and 2 year old) absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean and spacious and had great views from the decks outside. The property is situated in a gorgeous gated community and is very close to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. (Their is a Harris Teeter right outside the gates of the community). You do have to either take the trolley (in season) or drive (~5 min) to the beach parking lot (free to park) to get to the beach access which is just outside one of the entrances to the community. Driving to the parking lot was not a problem at all...with such a beautiful home overlooking the golf course and lap pool in the back yard, we did not mind having to take a few extra minutes to get to the beach. This is a great property if you have little ones who still need their naps - you can spend all morning at the beach, head home for lunch and naps while the parents layout by the pool. We only had a party of 3 at the time, but with 5 bedrooms, there is plenty of space for a larger group with a really nice open floor plan on the top floor (kitchen/dining/living area). All bedrooms have their own bath as well! I have to mention the owner, Bruce. He was so informative, available, welcoming...I can go on. He provided some great recommendations for activities in the area, dining, etc. He answered all of our questions and then some. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience all around - from the location, the house itself, the owners - all just perfect.

"Sea The Green" is everything the site says it is. Our family was not disappointed in this property and the amenities. The home was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and in a secure gated community. The beach was literally a few minutes away...transportation to the beach was provided and very convenient. The floor plan of the home was perfect, all the rooms were spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. They were roomy and had beautiful showers. No one ran out of hot water either. The pool is fantastic as well as the hot tub. We plan on renting this home in 20ll. One final comment...the owner, Bruce Walton was delightful to work with and even checked with us to see how things were going and suggested we call him anytime if we needed anything. You won't be disappointed in this property. Bill

Not only did Bruce provide a beautiful home but also managed to give us great weather for the week. We especially enjoyed the extra long pool. It was so relaxing and the kids enjoyed the floats and noodles at the pool. The hot tub was fabulous. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was really a plus. No waiting. There are so many things I could mention like the Fitness Center at the Currituck Club; my family really made use of that. My daughter and her husband are training for a marathon and used the many running/walking paths at the Currituck Club to train. We liked the Sunday to Sunday ck in/out so we wouldn't hit a lot of traffic. Bruce was fantastic to work with and was always available. It was nice to deal with the owner rather than a realty co. Another thing was the shuttle service to the beach and back. It runs every half hour. Definitely go to the Black Pelican in Kitty Hawk for dinner, it's casual dinning. When I learned the locals go here I knew it was a place we wanted to try and I was not disappointed. Another good place if you like Mexican is Bad Beans. It is in Timbuk2 shopping Center in Corolla. All in all a nice quiet community with lots to do and a lovely cozy home to relax and enjoy the beautiful views, sunsets, ocean. Would definitely return to Sea the Green again.

This was our second visit to OBX and Sea the Green and once again we had a wonderful vacation. This was due in no small part to the wonderful home that we stayed in. The house is modern, beautifully looked after, has great sized bedrooms and bathrooms and is perfect for the two families that stayed together. The large lap sized swimming pool is perfect and the house has all the amenities you could want and more. The owners are very communicative and are easily contactable to help make your stay a success. The Curittuck Club facilities are also wonderful, particularly the shuttle to the beach and the beach valet service which reserves your place on the beach each day and helps to carry all your beach ware from the shuttle stop to the beach areas. We look forward to our next visit!

Sea the Green was a wonderful place to stay. The house was beautiful and well taken care of It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with more than enough dishes, silverware, pans etc. It was great to have bathrooms in every bedroom....worked well for our teenagers. The pool area was very nice with lots of room to swim, relax by the pool, and even for grilling. It is in a very nice community,,,,felt safe no matter if we were biking, walking around, or just relaxing by the pool. The staff was very friendly and eager to help if needed. The owner was very easy to work with. Got a call from him after a couple of days in the house to see how things were going, and also got an e-mail on our return stating that he had already sent us our deposit back. We had a very fun and relaxing time staying here. Thanks Bruce!

This property is just perfect in every way! From the spacious bedrooms, each with their own beautiful bath, to the wrap around porches with tons of seating our large family had plenty of room to spread out! The home is lovely has everything you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The home was so well planned, the top floor is expansive and comfortable with plenty of room for large family meals or just spending time together. We loved watching the sunset from the decks each night, so beautiful!!! The kitchen is also very spacious and well equipped, it was the first time we made it through two weeks without running out for something to cook with!! The pool is fantastic, and it was so helpful to have a refrigerator and bathtub on the ground floor right off of the pool, easy access to drinks and snack and quick clean up for the little ones after a long day of swimming or the beach!! The Currituck Club is a fantastic community providing activities such as wine tastings and pool parties, not to mention a fantastic golf course!! The staff was so helpful, and the shuttle to the beach with concierge service for beach items made trips to the beach with small children a breeze. (Anyone who has ever tried to get to the beach with a 1 and 4 year old knows-its not easy!!) I loved running through the community in the early morning, everyone is so friendly and the entire club is just beautifully maintained and safe. After a lifetime of vacations on Martha's Vineyard and the southern coast of Maine, our family is in love with the Outer Banks! I cant say enough good things about our experience, Bruce, the owner, was so helpful, organized and responsive, I have never had such an easy and all around pleasant experience. From the 57 year old grandparents to the 1 year old, we all cannot wait for our next trip to Sea the Green!!

This was our fourth year staying at the Currituck Club and decided Sea the Green was our favorite house. The house is beautiful and well maintained. We all had our own bathrooms with no waiting! We especially enjoyed the lap pool. It was wonderful to be able to swim, float and play a game of volleyball all at the same time. The location was so beautiful with the golf course in perfect view along with a view of the ocean. Since we were vacationing on the 4th of July we were able to enjoy the fireworks from the top deck. The wrap around porches and dozens of lounge chairs made it easy to simply pick a comfortable spot to relax with your favorite book. The shuttle stops are very close to the home which helps when carrying all our beach chairs etc. It was also a pleasure to speak with Bruce personally and to make all reservations with the owner rather than a rental company. We were very happy to receive our deposit back in record time! We hope to be able to return to Sea the Green soon.

First Time in The Outer Banks

This was the first time that eight of the nine adult family members in our vacation party have visited The Outer Banks. We are thrilled that we were fortunate enough to find Sea the Green on Homeaway's site. Bruce was so easy to work with. We spoke a few times on the phone and he answered all of the questions that we had several times during the months preceding our vacation. What a patient and gracious host! Four members of our family arrived before my husband and I arrived at the house. My daughter called me and said "The house is perfect. You did a great job!" Needless to say, I let out a sigh of relief since we really don't know what we are getting until we get there. The house was immaculate! The main criteria we had while searching for a home was that each bedroom had to have its own bathroom. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. We said several times during the week that the house was homey and cozy. We sat outside each morning and ate breakfast on the third floor deck. The views are fabulous. We cooked on the grill and ate outside. Daily we rode the bikes provided with the house in the Currituck Club which had sidewalks for biking and walking. We used the floats and "noodles" in the pool. My husband even flew a kite while lying on a raft in the pool. It was one of the most relaxing vacations that we have ever taken. I am a reader so I totally enjoyed the small sitting area off of the living area for my reading time. The shuttle to the beach was such a convenience if you don't want to drive. The Currituck Club area of the beach has young people there to assist with carrying your beach items which was very helpful. My son-in-law flew a kite and my husband fished on the beach. Many wonderful memories were made during the week in Corolla. Thanks so much, Bruce! We had a terrific vacation in your lovely home. We have told several people about you and Sea the Green. You can be sure that we will be back again.

We've stayed at Sea the Green for 3 years now because it is so beautiful and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, with door to door trolley service to the beach. The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of space for a large group, it's actually too big for my family of 4! But we love the extra space, as we use one room for the kids' playroom. Each room has it's own bathroom, and the beds are very comfortable. The house has 3 levels of decking with a great view of the golf course. The pool is huge....75 feet long. I think my favorite part of the house is the sitting area upstairs next to the living room. You can go up there, read a book, get online or just have a cup of coffee and relax while looking out the window. It's a very cozy home. If you are into exercise/jogging....it is situated in a perfect spot. If you head north along the path and take the loop all the way around, it is just over 2 miles. If you head south, you can do a 3 or 4 mile run and still never leave the Currituck Club. I highly recommend this house....we love it!

Two familes (10 people) stayed at the house for a week in August 2009. The house was immaculate and 75ft pool was perfect for exercise and relaxation. The rooms were spacious and having a bathroom for each bedroom was a real plus. The Currituck Club is a perfect setting with tennis courts, a gym and Harris Teeter. The beach shuttle and access was wonderful and even included a team who helped take things to and from the beach. Thanks so much.

Sea the Green is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever had during a visit to Corolla. The home is immaculate with a beautiful view of the green, sunsets and a bit of ocean for good measure. The owner keeps things in top shape, and is easy to communicate with on all fronts. Each bedroom is a treat with its own bathroom for privacy. There's not a bad room in the house - three king beds make each feel like a master suite, and the tile work in the bathrooms is a step above the rest. The bunk room and twin room are perfect for kids. The lap pool was wonderful, large and open, and easy to keep an eye on all kids at once. You can sit in the sun or under the deck and still have an eye on the pool. The beach trolley makes it a breeze to get back and forth without getting sand and such in your own vehicle. Wireless internet made it easy to work when necessary. The community is quiet and relaxing, nice sidewalks for long walks and biking too. We highly recommend this property - it is a true "home away from home"!!

This year was our 10th year going to the Outer Banks with another family. The kids thoroughly loved the pool, the gameroom and the clubhouse (Currituck Club). It was actually our 2nd summer in this house because it works so well for both families. There's a nook great for reading, plenty of seating for dining, and plenty of chairs outside. We spent a lot of time by the pool with the radio. We especially enjoy watching the sunset from the 3rd level deck. Its got a great view of the 12th hole. The house is well-kept and clean and the furnishings are just right for our two families. Bruce is great to work with and we would not hesitate to come back next year.

The location for this house was perfect. The community is beautiful and very quiet. You can walk all around or ride bikes if you choose. The supermarket as you enter the community is so convenient and other stores and restaurants are nearby. The house was very clean and well-maintained. It had everything you needed. The pool is a great size, we had lots of fun playing vollyball in it and just floating around with the floats provided. I would definitely recommend this house to others. In fact, next year we hope to stay again with some friends.

We just returned home to New England after a glorious week in the Outer Banks. "Sea the Green " was our home away from home and we cannot wait to return! We love Corolla and have always stayed in the Corolla Light Resort, but this year we elected to stay in the Currituck Club resort. We loved it! A few words about the resort....It is a safe family community with a great neighborhood feel. It offers all of the desireable resort amenities including tennis, golf, game rooms and great views of the ocean and sound. We had the good fortune to stay at Sea the Green. It is a great home in an outstanding location! Honestly, the views from the decks are spectacular. We spent many nights sitting quietly enjoying the ocean and sound views. The home is large and well equiped and offers guests their own private bath. The furnishings are very attractive and well maintained. If you plan to bring children or teenagers, you will all appreciate the lower level which offers a foosball table, private refridgerator, pool and deck access. It is a great place for teens to retreat. The 75 foot lap pool was a hit with our family. It is truly amazing! I will definately return to the Outer Banks and my preference will be to stay at Sea the Green. While there are many great homes in the area, we were particularly impressed with the owners who made us feel so welcome and were incredibly responsive both prior to our arrival and during our stay. The description for the (SEA THE GREEN) location was described perfectly and the layout and amenities were perfect. The property was adequatly clean and well maintain.The owner did provide GREAT communication and customer service to any questions we had. I would recommend this property to our friends and anyone with a large family. The golf course was good , but I thought a little pricey. TIM Buck II was great for the kids and the shopping keep the girls busy.

My family had a wonderful stay at Sea the Green! We have never stayed in a home so clean and well kept. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub!!! One of our favorite things to do was to ride our bikes along the paths in the neighborhood and get icecream along the way. The owners were great communicators, and handled everything extremely professionally! We loved our vacation at Sea the Green.

We were two families with kids who shared the house and had a great week. House is in excellent condition, great common areas and everyone still can have their own privacy. Kids loved the pool and spent the week in swimsuits (regardless if at the beach or at home). Trolley service is convenient and so is the location with the supermarket just outside the gate to the Currituck Club. Would come back!

Recently stayed at Sea the Green (June 21-28, 2009). We all had a wonderful time. The house is very well kept with plenty of room for everyone ( we had 9 in our group - 4 adults, 5 children). The kids had a ball swimming in the very large lap pool - one of the largest in the area. The hot tub was a bonus, too. The beach was very clean and the sand was as soft as I've ever felt. The trolley service was available for transport to the beach and the interns were very helpful in getting our "stuff" to the beach. We would stay here agin, for sure! Lots of shopping

Stayed at this beautiful retreat for a week and couldn't have been more impressed. The house was so clean and decorated beautifully. It was extremely spacious and was equiped with everything we could possibly need. The views were incredible. I imagine they are some of the best in the Currituck Country Club. This was our first stay in Corolla, and we haven't found a rental that has lived up to this one yet. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Our stay at SEA THE GREEN was memorable! When we arrived, the house was immaculate, well decorated, and provided us with an exceptional level of convenience and comfort. Having bathrooms in each bedroom a big PLUS! The pool was an immediate hit with the teens while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The gated community was safe and the staff and vacationers were very friendly. And the Beach/Ocean was only a short Trolley ride away. The owner was extremely easy to work with. Altogether our stay couldn't have been more relaxing and memorable! The Outer Banks should be on everybody's list of places to visit and SEA THE GREEN the place to stay while there! We give the owner and accommodations a 10 star rating!

What a great experience! Sea the Green is beautiful! The property is well-maintained and very clean! We really enjoyed working with the owner of this property. We also enjoyed beautiful views of the Ocean and the Sound from this home. This house has all the ammenities and has anything you could ever want in a vacation home. We would highly recommend this home to others.

My family just completed a week stay in this home. It was spotless when we arrived and definitely exceeded our expectations. The property is well maintained. The gated community is beautiful, quiet and safe. We did a little sight seeing, but mostly we just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful home and community. I would certainly recommend it to others.
