12 year old condominium in a kid friendly and safe area. A few block from the beach which can be reached by walking or bike. The condo is located on a pond with a lovely fountain, a quiet area, no traffic noise heard at this location.
You are welcome to use our abundant beach chairs, umbrellas, beach and home toys and shovels for children. Our two bikes are available for your use also. Please bring your own helmet and non-clip shoes (classical ride is to Bethany Beach and back). Flat screen TV with Comcast connection. The condo is comfortable and beautifully appointed. Located in South Rehoboth towards Dewey Beach. On right side of Highway 1. Spring Lake is a 49 acre development built 30 year ago. Our condo is located in the latest and more modern section. A community swimming pool, community rec room with ping pong table is available for all renters and lots of room for walking and biking surrounds you including the state protected forest. Downtown Rehoboth is an easy 1.5 miles away by foot.
The beaches close to the lodging are quieter than the ones located closer to town in high season. Be sure to bring a kite and sun tan lotion. You can walk to Dewey Beach or at the Rehoboth boardwalk area.
Rehoboth Beach has many upscale and family friendly restaurants.
This is a family home, NO GROUP rentals are accepted AT ANY TIME. The development is full of children and your will make friends in no time.

Why the Owner Chose Rehoboth Beach
We have owned property at Spring Lake for over 20 years, in 2000 we sold a third floor unit for this one, it is more modern and upscale, also better located. The unit was only placed on the rental market in 2008 for the first time. We spend our own vacations here and also visit in winter.
Driving from the DC area is usually a 2 and 1/2 to 3 hour trip, in mid summer the traffic may delay you a bit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The attraction of this community is that it is away from the noise and wild activity of dowtown Rehoboth and located closer to Dewey Beach. Spring Lake was built as one of the first group of condominiums and has been run by a board which is responsive to all owners needs. Our unit is located on the newest area. The pond has fish (catch and release) which the grandchildren enjoy.
Since you have to cross Highway 1 to reach the beach. Walking there is easy, just cross to the shopping center across and take a shortcut to the right in the parking lot. You will reach the Silver Lake area and then the Rehoboth boardwalk. A lovely community pool is available (see photos)

I recently stayed at the rental property #184776. Just as advertized, the condo was amazing. While being in a quiet community, the layout of the condo itself was wonderful. I've stayed in rentals before but none to compare to this one. It was like really walking into a private home. The pictures and descriptions were not adequate to show how very nice this condo is. The furnishings were beautiful and well laid out. Everything a person could want was there. Many of the kitchen furnishings were way beyond the normal. The complex is nice to walk around. There were bicycles for use and downtown Rehoboth was only about 1 mile away. The boardwalk is in really good shape and a short ride down King Charles Drive. Even though the restaurants in the Rehoboth area are very good, Ocean City is only about 1 hour drive away and there are many fine restaurants there if you are tired of those in the Rehoboth area. All in all, it was an extremely delightful stay and will be remembered for future use. I can't wait to go again.

This is a very beautifully decorated beach condo. It is spacious, bright and very comfortable. The beach and downtown Rehoboth are within walking distance or a quick drive away. We have enjoyed weekends there both in the summer and fall. The patio overlooks a beautifu lake and it's relaxing to grill or eat on the patio. This is a perfect getaway condo for families and couples. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Rehoboth!

We loved the condo. Clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. Not far from the beach with a lovely, quiet, and clean community pool in the development. Plus the owner has 2 great bikes to share with renters. We'll go again. Great Vacation spot! The only sad part was that we had to leave a day early due to imending storm.

Our stay at Spring Lake was relaxing and exciting at the same time. We were just minutes from the beaches and from downtown Rehoboth and the outlets. After enjoying these we could return to the condo and relax in this nicely furnished, very clean and well maintained home. We took walks around the lake, saw several deer at night, barbecued, rode bikes and just plain relaxed. Thank you for making our long weekend so enjoyable. Peter and Aurora (Reston VA)

This is a lovely condo. It is stylish, comfortable and well kept. Spring Lake is a great community with lots of kids, a pool and the beach a short walk away. My family and I come every year, and we plan on returning year after year. We love this condo!

We would like to thank you for a lovely vacation. We did the usual beach stuff and took the provided chair and umbrella with us, we replaced one chair (which broke) also. The condo is clean, well furnished and well located, away from the hussle and bussle of downtown Rehobtoh and the noise of Dewey Beach. We used the pool often after coming back from the beach and our kids made friends quickly with other children in the development. There was even a lovely 4th of July ice cream party at the pool for them (and then of course fire works on the boardwalk) This condo had it all. Thanks, we will use VRBO again and hope to reserve the same condo unit next year. Alex and Jason

What a nice place! We had a wonderful time, the community is established, well manicured and kept up. This unit is in the newest area on a lake. Apparently Spring Lake was started 25 years ago and now has many visitors with some rental units. Nice pool, and the use of beach chairs and beach toys for the kids was a definite plus.
