  Thank you so much for letting my family stay in your amazing house! Customer service was wonderful and fast! Mr. J send us a clear detailed email with an amazing instruction. A beautiful place to relax and remember why we love to travel The house was clean and very quite place. The kitchen was amazing and got everything that we need to prepare our food for the kids. You are going to love the view, better then the photo that Mr. J provide you :) Beach front.   We loved our stay at Beach VIlla 9A. We arrived to a beautiful, large, clean apartment with a wonderful view of the Ocean! Our stay was awesome and when we do visit the Bahamas again, we look forward to our stay at Sunrise - 9A. Chris & Alexia

  Nothing short of amazing! The villa as perfect and exacty as pictured, big, airy, with lots of natural light; and a great view of the water from the balcony. Just perfect!!! The surf was a bit rough, but locals assured us its generally much calmer. Surf was rough because of Hurricane Sandy. Other sites to see: Under the Bridge - you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables and taste fresh conch, crab, and fish. Atlantis - This place is huge!! There's a water park, an aquarium, club, casino, lots to enjoy - only two properties away. We intend to return in a couple months, and we will definitely be staying at Sunrise Beach Villas, 9A. -Chris and Alexia

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  Perfect villa! We are convinced we had the BEST view! We got fresh lobster tail from one of the local fish markets on our way 'home', while we were already in a cab exploring, and grilled them on the gas grill provided on the balcony. Everything in the unit was as shown and described. All the grounds were very clean and it seemed there was always maintenance and cleaning going on. Property was well lit and we felt safe. Security usually visible. We ate Viola's at LEAST once per day and had many drinks there. LOVED the pizza. The unit was stocked with LOTS of towels! We NEVER heard anyone else (neighbors) and it sometimes felt like we had it all to ourselves. We ordered groceries and they were waiting to put them away for us when we arrived. It was very convenient to have cold beverages, ice & fruit. Very easy to take a cab. Just a very short walk to Viola's (about 50 steps from the door to a bar stool) and a cab can be right there. Friendly staff at Viola's even called a cab for us on a few occasions, to visit Nassau. This service makes this villa even more valuable in our opinion. While visiting Atlantis, we were sitting in the casino somewhat chuckling, comparing the atmosphere, bustling crowds, long lines for all food options (we tried none at Atlantis, but lines may have been exaggerated due to hurricane Sandy), and we were VERY happy to know we were returning to Sunrise Beach Club. GREAT ACCOMMODATIONS, BEACH, FOOD, BAR, POOLS & PEOPLE. The internet and free long distance to U.S. was SUPER valuable! Can't wait to go back when we can really enjoy such a perfect villa, in a perfect place, without a "perfect storm"! We were there Oct. 21st-27th, and Hurricane Sandy took most of our trip, but we made the best of it. Having never been on an island in a hurricane before, it was troubling. There were crews cleaning up debris immediately! There was a malfunction of our door lock during the hurricane, but it was resolved VERY quickly. Now hopefully not too many people will read this and take all the slots for next year! Despite the weather, I would go back again and again to this unit! (Go to Khyla's Island Philosophy at Junkanoo beach, and tell her, "Stacy said, BEST GINGER SWITCHER EVER!", and you won't be disappointed! ;) Also, BIG 10, at the fish fry, has the best grouper we've ever had, and Deidra's at fish fry has awesome fish fritters if you don't like conch. So happy to have found this place, and plan to make it an annual tradition.

  The rental met my expectations. If you are addicted to being connected to the internet, I would suggest you be prepared to add data plans to your cell phones before arriving. Viola's was a great place to meet people and eat and drink. I wasn't sure about not having a car, but soon realized that everything is a just a few walking minutes away. I hope to go back next year and would serioulsy consider going back to the same unit. The Bahamian people do not harass you and I felt safe walking home from the casino at 2 a.m. by myself. I never felt unsafe in the Bahamas. Also, as far as the beach is concerned, be careful and mind the flags on the beach as the ocean was too rough for a swim and on one day there were 10 near-drownings according to a local a spoke with down there.

Advise place your smartphones on airplane mode and use the wifi there to avoid roaming data charges. It is prudent to follow the warning flags for swimming conditions.   We still have 3 days remaining here in this Villa but I can't wait to rave how FUN and AMAZING this place is! This villa exceeds my expectations! We stayed in Comfort Suites for one night to gain access to Atlantis. We then move here for another 5 days. The moment we open the door, we already love the place. It is so close to Atlantis and the beach is just perfect. No need to book water activities online (banana boat and jet ski), because it is just outside the villa. You can also get better deal directly negotiating with the locals. $10/person( they will say $15- but negotiate) for banana boat ride. $140/hr for jet ski (which I think you can still negotiate- which we didn't do because we aleady have a jetski back home). We rented a van for one day, so that our family of 7 can drive around the city and buy groceries. We already contracted a Taxi to the airport for $50.00/ 7 passengers- much less than the published rate for airport transfer. Anyway, back to the Villa- we have everything we need here except for beach umbrella. It cost us $25/day to rent a beah umbrella. We needed it for shade because we have 18month old baby. Although we stayed at the beach almost the whole day- it is so nice to just run to the villa to get something that we need. Maybe owneres can add Beach Umbrella and small cooler soon. Did I mention there is a DESKTOP COMPUTER! A pleasant surprise!!! :) :) It was not in the website picture :) WE will definitely miss this place---Lucky we still have 3 days left to enjoy the BAHAMAS.

  We were extremely pleased with our rental condo. Close to Atlantis and not necessary to have a car. Owner was extremely helpful about suggestions and we had a wonderful time at Blue Lagoon for a swim day with the dolphins. We found the unit to be just as pictured and very clean. Grocery purchasing should deffinitely be done prior to reaching Paradise Island as prices were steep for us. Rest and relaxation with plenty to do. Thank You we will definitely be back!

  The apartment is spacious and spotless and the resort is a great place to stay. Although there is always something going on at the onsite bar/restaurant the overall atmosphere is relaxing. The owner is responsive and accommodating to requests. The view over the pool and beach is amazing and having direct access to the beach is fantastic. It is possible to walk to the attractions on the island so this makes it terrific value for money.

  We stayed at Sunrise (condo 9a) for 10 days with both of our young children and felt right at home. It was clean and fully equipped, the beach was great as were the grounds in general. We didn't find the outdoor furniture on the balcony to be practical however since they are basically high bar stools with bar. We would eat breakfast on the balcony each morning and had to bring out the dinning room chairs. The umbrella and beach chairs left for us to use on balcony were rusted and have seen their better days but all in all we really weren't lacking a thing. The owners description and helpful hints were right on. Would definitely go back. Thank you John!

  Clean place, good location and overall a good value for a family. Short walk to Atlantis. (which is SUPER expensive!!) Could use someone looking after the amenities in the unit. There were 3 beach chairs and a beach umbrella on the balcony, all were rusted and broken. We had to purchase our own soap for the dishwasher, we were not left with any extra paper towels. Several light bulbs were burned out in one bathroom including the one in the shower so it was too dark to use. Would also be nice to have at least salt and pepper in the cupboard! Beach was beautiful but would suggest not planting yourself right in front of Sunrise as there are lots of jet skis parked in front and it is annoying! The front desk staff is not that friendly once they find out you are not a "hotel" guest but renting from someone. Overall this is a great destination. People in the Bahamas are great and it is the most beautiful water you will ever see!!

We are on hotel grounds-but as private owners you get great pricing. We like to do continuous improvement and welcome repeat visitors. A quieter part of the beach is 2 mins away in front of the One and Only Ocean Club. However for activities , Banana boat, jet ski you have them at your doorstep!
