Welcome to Trailside, our second "Trail Home" getaway at the foot of the Continental Divide!
Trailside is a private, sunny, luxury home located 'next door' to our Trail's End vacation home (VRBO #136941) along the edge of an extensive, multi-use trail system just miles from the awe-inspiring snow-capped peaks of the Divide and minutes from the charming mountain town of Nederland. Whether it's short walks (to breakfast,for instance, at the nearby Sundance Cafe), long hikes, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing or even just lazily relaxing in sheer, private comfort, these homes have it all right at your fingertips!
Trailside is a bright, airy home- warm and welcoming in all weather -with an open floor plan, huge outdoor deck, detached garage with studio/bedroom upstairs, and an expansive, lodge-style living room/kitchen great for entertaining and just plain decadent relaxation! The house's bedrooms are uniquely appointed, with King and Queen sized beds and luxury bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped and open both to the living room and the outdoor deck. With its close proximity to Nederland, Boulder, Estes Park, Denver, and especially to its neighbor, Trail's End, Trailside is an ideal location for family vacations, small group retreats wedding parties, romantic getaways, private meetings and plain old playing in the mountains. Between our two homes (each independent of the other, but only a short walk away), we are able to accommodate up to 20 guests on one private, dreamy property!
Pets welcome on a limited basis for an extra pet/cleaning fee and BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY.

$275 Security Deposit Within 1 Week of Booking.
50% Advance Rental Payment Due with Security Deposit.
Balance Due 14 Days Prior to Arrival.
$125 cleaning fee, up to 1 week. Increases w/longer stays.
$15/Night Per Each Guest Over 6 Guests, 10 Max.

Great House, Excellent Location

We had two families staying in the Trailside and Trails End homes from 5/29/2010 to 6/4/2010. The pictures really don't show quite how nice the houses are or the surrounding woods and trails. The kids absolutely loved the toys that were provided, and the "playroom/walk in closet" that the toys were stored in. The houses are secluded on their own road, which was excellent, a 30 second walk from eachother and a couple minute drive from town. The house is within walking distance from an excellent cafe, nice hiking trails and a ranch providing horseback trail rides. The owners were great to work with. We would definitely recommend this house or the Trail's end house to anyone staying in the area.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
