The moment we walked into the place we knew it would be a fantastic break from the chaos of big city life. The layout is great - a combination of privacy (the kids had their own bedroom) and shared spaces for games, movies (so many great movies in stock!) and just lounging around. For someone who is constantly on their cell phone and email, having none of those available was heavenly. Ok, so I did access the free wi-fi one night while having a great pizza at Chair 9, but I only read emails and didn't respond :). The area itself was beautiful. We took many walks through the trees and by the river. And we all loved the hot tub! We will definitely be returning.

Not only was the house so well furnished and comfy, James was so awesome to work with. No complaints at all - we cannot wait to come back!

Great cabin, modern features but still the rustic charm of a log cabin, with plenty of space to spread out. We were a group of 7 friends up for a ski weekend and had an awesome time, there was plenty of sleeping space and socializing space. Enjoyed the hot tub especially! We were provided with plenty of information before arriving that helped us to plan our stay, great job! We would love to come back next year.

Girls Getaway at Snowline Cabin

Our Girls Getaway included five women that enjoy making great soup, reading good books, drawing, painting and getting outdoors for hikes, snowshoeing and bird watching. The house was very comfortable for all the things we love to do. We explored the Snowline trails, nearby Mt Baker groomed trails for beautiful snow shoe walks at Anderson Creek Rd and Salmon Ridge Road. We enjoyed Milanos, grocery store and bakery in Glacier. We did wish to comment, the only negative being a loose floor board in the great room near the fireplace and end of sofa which needs repair. We also could not find a heat control switch for the master bedroom upstairs. The stove top light did not work and the dishwasher cycled through several wash and rinses when set on normal wash. These are all normal things any homeowner encounters and did not change our overall enjoyment of the house. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the place very much.

We had a great time at this cabin in the woods. It was very comfortable and easy to live in and great to relax after a day on the slopes at Mount Baker. We even used the BBQ for our Christmas Day lunch. Lovely.

I had some of my staff stay at James' cabin as part of our annual retreat. The feedback was great. Very comfortable beds and charming "deluxe cabin" atmosphere. The photos and description in the listing were accurate, and the cabin was fully ready for our arrival. The cabin has everything they needed for a relaxing stay. We also had a great pizza dinner across the street at Chair9 that everyone raved about. I'd highly recommend the place.

I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a hassle free, serene vacation away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. The cabin is roomy, well taken care of and fully stocked with everything you would possibly need (excluding clothes and food) There is not one thing that is missing in this unique home. The very small town it is located inside of is built with friendly locals that are willing to make your time even more memorable. I highly recommend going to Chair 9 for food, drinks and atmosphere. If you are looking for something more late night then check out the Frosty Inn which has a full bar after normal restaurant hours and don't forget to stop by Wake n Bake every morning to start your day off right. The owner of this cabin will provide everything you need to know before you even leave town. He also makes booking and contacting him easy and efficient. There is no way you wont be thoroughly impressed with this cabin and its owner. Don't miss out on this experience.

My family of 2 adults and 4 children have been coming to this cabin during ski season for the past three years. What I've liked best about it is that there are two bedrooms downstairs and the master upstairs so there is some separation between us and the kids. The cabin is very comfortably furnished and has a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub is great and the owners are very helpful and take great care with their cabin. It has really become our home away from home during ski time and I'm really wanting to plan a trip during the summer as there is just as much to do here at that time of year. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

very nice cabin, slept 6 very comfortably, updated kitechen with all the essentials, hot tub was very nice and fit 4 comfortably, great location across from chair 9 and as about as close as you can get to mt baker ski area. cabin was very clean and well appointed, owner communication was excellent. already recommended cabin to several others

Well, we rolled back into Sequim around six o'clock......we just had a ball!!!.... your home is just lovely!!....so well furnished!!....and, obviously, a lot of thought has been put into making a rental easy on the renters!! I wanted you to know that we treated your home and its "well being" as if it was "ours".....and we wanted to personally thank you for allowing us to use your home for a couple of nights.....as, I said before....we had the BEST time and just can't thank you enough!! My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his 30th birthday with another couple recently. The most clean and cozy cabin we have ever stayed in. Not only were the beds extremely heavenly but the entire set up made us feel like we were exactly where we wanted to be. So clean, and not only that but the amount of games and movies that are there to entertain you in the evenings when you are not out enjoying the area was amazing. We wished we could have stayed another 3 weekends! Worth every penny and then some!

We stayed at this great cabin for our annual "girls trip". We had such a wonderful time. It was a very clean and beautiful place to stay. The hot tub was great and the trails around the cabin were amazing. We would love to come back year after year.

My girlfriends and I went up to this beautiful, cozy, and scenic cabin for the first time in 2010, and have since made coming here an annual trip. Located less than 20 minutes from the Mount Baker ski area, the location is as close as you can get without having to sleep on the slopes. It is also within walking distance to a great bar, Chair 9, which always has great music and great beer on tap. The drive from Seattle is easy and scenic, and we like to swing by the Mount Baker Vineyards on the way up to stock up on local wine and chat with the gregarious and knowledgeable owner. The cabin itself is well stocked with everything you need to cook a great meal (be sure to bring your own oil and spices though!). The kitchen is big enough for at least two cooks, and the dining table easily seats 6 adults. There is a new sectional sofa in the living room, which makes this room great for curling up with a book or a movie (the owners also have a HUGE movie stock in the loft, with everything from rom-com's and sci-fi, to gangster flicks and kids, as well as a nice collection of games). The master bedroom and bath is spacious, and the bed is so comfortable, I don't want to wake up. The thoughtful and flexible owners also provide towels and all the bedding. And don't forget the hot tub! Whether you are looking for a hub to hike or ski out of, or a quiet weekend in the woods, you will not regret coming to this cabin in Snowline! Spending the weekend up on Mount Baker is one of the highlights of our year, and we can't wait to go back

I stayed here with my family for three nights.. absolutely amazing! Everything was perfect. It was tranquil, relaxing, the most perfect getaway! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone! What a perfect community!

This condo was absolutely beautiful. It was great to come back to a hot tub after a long day at Mt. Baker (which is a short 30 minute drive). The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. The community was very quiet and it was a short walk to the scenic river shore. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and I would definitely come back myself.

The house was absolutely perfect, great for entertaining and cooking with friends after skiing, fully equiped and has everything you need. Just bring the food and swim suits. The hot tub is also very nice. Great location and privacy even though it's in a community. I would definitely recommend this place to friends!
