We just got home from a great family vacation in CO. We had 5 adults and 6 children and this house fit us perfectly. There is plenty of room to have all the family together for meals and the teens have a TV and space of there own. There are plenty of dishes and glassware for large groups. The hot tub was great. Breckenridge has lots of things to do and we did many and had a great home to go to after some very full daysRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We spent a week here for a small family reunion during the summer. We had 7 adults and the house provided plenty of room for us to spread out. Having a bedroom on the first floor was really great for my parents. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets we needed. There were even a couple of growlers available that we could take to the Breckenridge Brewery to refill. BTW, the food was great at BB. We were close to town, but not quite close enough to walk. We did rent bikes and it was an easy ride (even though it was a gentle uphill when returning home). There was plenty for us to do in the area for hiking, sight seeing and shopping. The weather during our week in Breck was wonderful. The temperature was cool while the rest of the country was baking. The house has no air conditioning and I can't imagine that it's ever needed. A few open windows provided a cool breeze and fresh mountain air. The owners have done a very nice job making sure that the house was clean and ready for us to use. The house certainly exceeded our expectations. We were very comfortable and if we decide to come back to Breckenridge in the future, we'd consider this location again. It was a great!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We spent five days with two other families at this property - it was awesome! There were 12 of us - 6 adults, three 7th graders and three 5th graders. The house was the perfect size. The kids had room to spread out, and spent a couple of evenings playing cards in the basement. The kitchen/breakfast area/family room were big enough for everyone to be in the room watching a movie. We cooked several meals in the kitchen, with all the cooking tools, utensils, dishes, etc. that we needed. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. A bit far to walk to town, but a super short drive. All in all, it was everything we expected, plus more!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We meet our family from CA in Breckenridge every summer, and this has been the best place we have stayed in the past 13 years. The home has at least 4 areas that we can spread out in when we don't want or need to all be in the same place, yet the kitchen, dining area, and main room are large enough when we do want to be together. It is far enough from town, but close enough to walk to it. We had a great time. The TV's worked, and the wireless internet was easy to connect to. Thanks for letting us use your home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

My friends and I spent most of a week 'home basing' from here and skiing summit county. Very nice house, the photos don't do it justice. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of places for different groups to sit and visit. Too far to walk to town - but a quick drive!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: Hello, I'm Renee Selting co-owner and manager of this lovely Breckenridge vacation home. My husband Wayne and I have owned this home since 1997 and have enjoyed many family trips to Breckenridge all year round. We have made it our goal to upgrade our home every year. We have remodeled all the bathrooms and the kitchen. On the outside we have landscaped the yard with 150 flowering plants in a rock garden theme for our summer visitors. We are proud of our home and hope you will be impressed with what we have done.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We choose Breckingridge as our vacation home destination because of its world class skiing in the winter and mountain spendor in the summer and fall. Wintertime brings 2,358 acres of sking and boarding just 5 minutes away. Summertime brings an incredable array of wildflowers spread over the 60 miles of hiking and biking terrain. And the fall is bountiful in its golden aspen splendor.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The primary benefit to our home is having room to spead the family out, with the kids enjoying the downstairs TV, DVD and game area, the adults can be upstairs in the TV, DVD famliy room or enjoyinig some quiet reading time in the two-story living room. Sitting in the outdoor hottub, relaxing those well used ski or hiking muscles, while star-gazing at Breckeridge's ultra clear skies is another great reason to choose our home as your vacation lodging.
