Our bright, sunny contemporary is arranged on two levels, plus a basement. Each level has a living room, bathroom, kitchen facilities, and two bedrooms (a master bedroom on each level).
This four bedroom, two bath home is located on a private, flat acre. The fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen has lots of counter space, a Jenn-Aire stove, microwave, and dishwasher and full refrigerator with an ice-maker. The downstairs level has its own kitchenette with a microwave, coffeemaker, undercounter refrigerator, and toaster oven. Laundry facilities are in the house. The basement has bikes for your use (bring your own helmets) and a Ping-Pong table. There is an outdoor shower.
Beds include two queen-size, four twins, and two queen-size sleeper sofas, one in each of the two living rooms. Each bedroom and each living room has a ceiling fan. The house is equipped with broad-band internet and Wi-Fi, so bring your laptop and stay in touch.
Beach parking pass is for two town ocean beaches - Charlestown Beach (half mile from house) and Blue Shutters. Many different water sports, golf, and other activities nearby. Newport, Watch Hill, Mystic Seaport, Foxwoods, and Block Island ferry are each about a 25-minute drive.

Why the Owner Chose Charlestown
I live in NY and used to vacation on Martha's Vinyard. It got to be too much of a hassle between the drive and the ferry. A friend told me her family vacationed in RI. I looked around the Charlestown area and rented for several years and then bought my own place. The beaches are wonderful and the trip to and from RI is heaven compared to going to the Vineyard.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The area is understated but has most of what you need within a mile of the house, the beach, Charlestown mini-mart for great food, video store, restaurants, post office, great library, package store. It is so convenient and yet simple and relaxed.
Additional Town Beach. Has a pavilion. House comes with a parking pass for this beach.

Jane and Jason were very easy to work with. Very professional but also friendly. The summer home is spacious and easily accommodated our large family. Multiple tvs with cable, ping pong table in the basement and bikes to ride to the beach provided the extras which insured fun for all. I highly recommend to my friends and family, for a summer (or other seasonal) getaway, dream vacation in relaxing Charlestown, RI. This property is well maintained, clean and neat. Jane and Jason wouldn't have it any other way!!

The home was very spacious and comfortable for our family of 10 of various ages. It is a lovely neighborhood, great for taking a morning or evening stroll. The owner was very informative and accomodating. A real pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making our 2011 vacation a memorable one.

Was so happy when I arrived at my vacation home for the week. You never know how these things will work out in person, so I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by a spacious home, that was nicely decorated, with a big yard in a nice neighborhood. It was great to be just minutes from the beach. Definitely took the pressure off of having to have every minute planned as the kids could come and go as they please. It was close to several restaurants so we were always able to find something to do. Jane & Jason were pleasant and accessible from the moment we showed interest in the house. We will DEFINITELY be back!!
