This is a wonderful home for a family! We have been going to Blowing Rock all our lives, as we live quite close. But we needed extended living quarters for the week of my son's wedding there, and this house filled the bill perfectly. Everything you could possibly need for an absoluetly lovely vacation in what we call "God's Country". You can't beat it!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family rented this home for the month and we loved it! Perfect location in a nice neighborhood and very close to downtown, bass lake and the blue ridge parkway (tweetsie too!). Very nicely decorated, very spacious (perfect downstairs for guests with 2 br and 2 baths and a second kitchen!) and comfy beds too! Very well maintained. Can't wait to visit again!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show and it is conveniently located in the upscale neighborhood across from the Blowing Rock attraction. Vivian and Carl were gracious "remote" hosts and made us feel very welcome. This isn't a typical rental or investment property. This is their 2nd home with nice furniture, top-notch appliances and comfortable beds. We were extremely satisfied with this lovely home for our vacation!!! Thank you Vivian and Carl!
