If you are looking for a UNIQUE place to take your UNIQUE selves... this is it!
The Buckminster Fuller Geodesic Dome was built in 1967. Some say it should be a Hippie Heritage Site because it was built by the "back to the land counterculture folks" who did it for beauty and love. It is funky and functional.
The main level living room has a woodstove, a TV (with sports channels) and a selection of books. The Great Room part of the Dome has a magnificent ceiling and comfy chairs to sit around and talk. The Dome is located on a sunny three acre heritage farm. The grounds are beautiful, with a hammock under the apple tree, a fire pit, games for children and an antique Hollywood swing.
The Dome Home can accommodate two families traveling together easily and promises to be a vacation you will all remember with a huge smile, and lots of stories for years to come. |
