The Muskegon river is one of the best tubing rivers around. We are in front of a dammed portion of the river called Rogers pond that is great for boating, skiing, swimming, and just plain splashing. If you get tired of the water we are minutes from national forests with trails for biking, ATV, and ORV. There is also horseback riding and golfing in the area. Just minutes north is Big Rapids, home of Ferris State University, with restaurants, shops, and stores to keep you well supplied. The area around has many Amish farms and shops that are fascinating and fun to visit.
Don’t want to jaunt about? Then stick close to this cottage retreat that has all the comforts of home. Have a bonfire next to the river’s edge, fish from your own private dock, take your laptop out to the deck and enjoy high speed internet in the great outdoors. No one needs to sleep on the couch when there are beds in three private bedrooms and a sleeping loft too. Have quality family time with plenty of space in this 1500+ square foot home. The landscaped yard has all the room you need for outdoor activities. So enjoy the river/lake life that is top rated from both Field and Stream, and National Geographic. They don’t call it the great lakes for nothing! P.S. The fishing is world class!
