The Lindsay Hill Farm House, built in the summer of 2006, is located on the hillside of The Quilcene Valley, on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.
This home INCLUDES a HUGE bushel ( a gunny sack full) of Quilcene Oysters fresh from a local certified beach, delivered to your door, still in the shell. For large groups, this is a great feast! We try to have the oysters at your door upon arrival.
This 2450 square foot home, with three bedrooms and three baths, includes two queen sized and two full sized beds. Three levels having one bedroom and full bath on each level. The home can accommodate up to 10 people with one futon. This beautiful timber framed home features wood ceilings and quality throughout.
The Farm House includes five acres of privacy with foothill and some Olympic Mountain view. There has been some clear cutting in the area.
The full sized kitchen includes features such as a stainless gas cook top with electric oven, instant hot water, a very large refrigerator/freezer, as well as all common appliances, dinnerware and cookware. Washer and dryer are on site.
Picnic just outside of the kitchen - with a large deck that provides a gas barbecue and outside furniture.
Enjoy our steam sauna bath with a jetted tub for two in the upstairs master bath. The Master Bedroom includes a balcony with mountain view. A great morning coffee area.
Enjoy Direct TV with TV's on both the main and uppper levels of the home. On the lower level, through a sliding glass door there is a large yard and lots of room for your puppy dog to run.
A 1/2 basketball court is also onsite, as well as horseshoes.
Quilcene Bay generally has very warm water summer temps, great clamming, crabbing and salmon fishing at various times of the year. The seals and scenery will totally enchant you, just a 10 minute drive away.
Kayaks can be rented for use on Quilcene Bay, when available. They are shared with other vacation homes and must be arranged far in advance. The daily rate for these run $100. for two single, sit on top kayaks. Additional kayaks are $50. per day. |
