This classic A-frame home (affectionately known as the Sand Castle) is located on the Big Mesa, above Duxbury Reef on the Pacific Coast of Northern California, between San Francisco and the Point Reyes National Seashore. Just a 30 min walk to downtown beaches, restaurants and shops and a 10 minute walk to Agate Beach State Park, where the mountains meet the sea.
This area abounds with wildlife: deer, birds, elk, coyotes, etc. One can avail themselves of all kinds of outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, surfing, beachcombing, etc. Just minutes from the internationally known Audubon Canyon Ranch and the Point Reyes Bird Observatory, it is a paradise for birders.
Facing west, this home offers a relaxing, furnished deck off the living room, both offering a lovely view of the sunset. A large yard off the side of the house has outdoor seating and a dining area.
