My wife and I had a great time. We saw 6-7 whales from the balcony one morning. Another day we snorkeled by the beach and swam with a 6 foot sea turtle. It was a really great experience. We also did the luau and show at Polynesian Cultural Center one night that was great. We rented a car and we were able to see all of the island from here taking day trips. The condo was clean. We loved having a washer/dryer in the room. But the view was the best part. Everything was just as described and it was a great experience!!

Loved the views from the balcony and we had so many wonderful walks and sitting out on the beach, without having to see anybody else. The apartment was very clean and the help from the agent was great. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks for a great vacation rental.

From the pictures this condo looked very nice and comfortable the views of the ocean were fantastic. Upon further examination of the room we noticed that there was no air conditioning which wasnt explained to us. After about three to four days of staying here out of a two weeks stay we noticed that there were bugs coming out of the sink and stove area. Upon telling the ownership about this problem they said that there was nothing they could do. So after five days of staying here we ended up going to the waikiki beach area for the rest of our stay. Unfortunately we lost out on the rest of our stay there as far as the money goes. I would have to say that my wife and I have learn from this experience and in the future will start reading the fineprint but also if youve never been to a place and have to take someones word for it you may want to think twice before booking your dream vacation! in conclusion I will not be staying here ever again but I probably will be back to Hawaii again at some point and time in the future

Owner response:Aloha Chris & Katie, again we apologize for the 8 ants found around the kitchen sink and counter top (pictures taken). Your first call was received several days after your arrival. On our welcome letter we highly suggest to our guests to NOT leave out open food pkgs. On rainy days the bugs will come out.... here in Hawaii and everywhere! My priority is cleanliness. But I do not control the guest's cleanliness... the ants/bugs will come if you invite them. Again, we apologize. As explained on our webpage, we are located on the country side, NOT the Waikiki/ Honolulu side. You noted this was your first trip to Hawaii, we hope you enjoyed your stay in the downtown Waikiki area. Again Mahalo for your first time visit to Beautiful Hawaii.

My husband and I stayed in this vacation rental for 4 nights following our 3 nights in Waikiki. While exploring the city was fun and the night life exciting, it was even better to come here to this North Shore condo and relax in such a beautiful, picturesque setting. The condo felt like a quaint beach cabin, with its casual, but chic Hawaiian decor. The view of the ocean from the balcony was even more stunning than the pictures show. We rose at 6:15 am every morning, just to enjoy the sunrise. I'm sure you may be inspired to do the same. And don't forget your camera. You will want to relieve these memories over and over again! We appreciated using the available snorkel, masks, and fins to swim with the wild sea turtles at Turtle Beach. All in all, this clean condo was everything we could have hoped for, and the kitchen came well equipped for all our home cooked meals. Lisa, the owner's caretaker, was very helpful to us- before, during, and after our stay, making herself available for any questions, if needed. The damage deposit arrived, by mail in a timely fashion, after our return home to BC. We would definitely stay here again if we make it ever back to Oahu, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family, friends, or strangers.

Wonderful place to stay, Lisa was very helpful and concerned about our comfort. Great location on the North Shore, easy access to everything, much quieter, no busy city noise. Beautiful sunrises, beach is easy access and very clean and quiet. Can hear the ocean waves, the balcony was wonderful, loved to hear the ocean as I was drifting off to sleep. Polynesian Cultural Center was amazing, we spent all day there, it is worth the money you spend to see and do everything. The turtles at nearby beaches were interesting to observe, and we loved the local fruit stands, yummy pineapple and coconuts. We ate at L&L and Surfin Taco, those were great places for food, the Kalua Pork, rice, and macaroni salad are great. Very relaxing vacation, I would send my friends and relatives to this condo.

We did a lot of research before booking this Condo. My wife's basic requirement was the place to be clean and it was. The building itself is older, but the Condo was just what we wanted. It was right on the beach and we could here the ocean all night long (we actually used the pull out in the living room instead of the bed nook). The location of the Condo is quiet, we don't like all of the congestion of the Honolulu area. Lisa was easy to work with and we received our deposit refund within days of returning. I am always a bit sceptical when booking Condos. This one is just as described and I would book it again.

Great jumping off place for our Hawaii vacation

Just got back. My wife and I spent two weeks in Hawaii with one week at this great condo. Everything that we needed was available. Great location. Spent too much time site-seeing and was not able to take advantage of the fantastic beach and pool. When you make reservations 5,000 miles away, you keep your fingers crossed. I made the right decision with this condo. The previous great reviews played a big part in our decision. Not sure that we will ever make it back but if we do, this is the only place to start.

Love our stay at this beachfront condo. Condo was just as described, very clean. we have missed hearing the ocean and having our breakfast as the sun rose every day! The windward side offers tranquility, yet you are just around the corner from the North shores and the busy Waikikki area. And loved the Shrimp Shack which was just minutes away!!! would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed at this condo Nov.26 thru Dec.4,2009. This was the third time we have been to Oahu and I can honestly say this was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed at. Had a beautiful view of the beach. Lisa even called to make sure everything was ok and to make sure we had everything we needed. This is a good place to stay to get away from the big city life and stay near the north shore where the pace is a little slower.Thanks again Lisa,hope to be back soon.

My husband and I stayed at this property Aug 22-27, 2009. This was the perfect getaway for us-we wanted to be close to the northshore and away from the hustle and bustle from the city. The condo is right on the beach and recently remodeled. Everything was very clean, neat and organized. Although the unit does not have air conditioning-it was always cool enough with the breeze coming off this ocean. We would recommend this property to our friends, family and hope to return someday ourselves!

Hello Lisa, Finally getting back into the swing of things at home (I just now changed my watch back to local time back from Hawaiian time!). Again we wanted to thank you and your client (homeowner) for a most pleasant stay. My wife now complains every night she misses the sound of the waves singing us to sleep. Today we also picked up the refund check in the mail. Thanks for that as well. I have a feeling we will be planning our next vacation soon, which of course will be in Hawaii again, and will be in touch when we know more. Thanks again for everything and keep the cheerful attitude. We sometimes found that to be sorely missing especially with business people. Thank you Lisa for a great vacation! we had an awesome time, the condo was perfect and very clean. The best part was being able to walk out to the beautiful secluded white sand beach with our baby and swimming in the calm water. This is definitely the place to stay for a great relaxing time. We enjoyed everything about Punaluu and would certainly stay here again.
