  My family of 6 (including 3 children under 10 and an Au Pair) just spent a few days at this home for the New Year's holiday. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything. We rent a house at least 3- 4 times a year, and this house was by far one of our favorites. Our satisfaction began with our last-minute booking, which was seamless, thanks to Kim English. When we got to the home, it felt so welcoming. The house was very clean (from the kitchen to the bedrooms to the bathrooms). There were plenty of towels, sheets, and warm blankets. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked. The upstairs room is huge! That was the kids' favorite spot in the house. The hot tub outside was very clean and oh-so-enjoyable, which shows that the owners take great care of it. The house is convenient; it's close to Northstar, a huge Safeway, and Kings Beach. The guest binder includes lots of useful information and guides. I was also impressed with Kim's professionalism, responsiveness, and amazing customer service during our stay. Our first night there, the VCR and DVD players on the televisions were not working properly. I contacted Kim that night because the kids really wanted to watch Pokemon (the Movie). She responded immediately and tried to help us fix the problems even as late as 10:00 p.m. When nothing helped, the next morning Kim scheduled a repairman to come to the house to fix the television. Glenn (our repairman) saved Pokemon, as the kids say! Kim also suggested local activities for us to do with the kids, which was a big help. We would definitely like to rent this home again and strongly recommend it to anyone (especially families) looking for a home to rent in North Tahoe.

  Upon arrival, at 5pm, the house had not been cleaned yet. Cleaners arrived after several phone calls to management went unanswered. I realize this isn't the owner's fault, nor the management. But the unanswered phone calls were not appreciated. I ended up having to clean the kitchen myself and disinfect bathrooms. House had the most horrible wet dog smell. All bedding was covered in dog hair and smelled HORRIBLE. I was up until midnight the first night washing all bedding, to rid it of fleas! Fireplace damper didn't work and house filled with smoke whenever a fire was built. Garage is not attached, you need to walk down many ice covered stairs to get to the front door. Back sliding glass door lock is broken, not safe. Several key lightbulbs burned out, we replaced as many as we could reach. The house is tired and worn out. It's obvious that the owners and management don't put much care into the home which is unfortunate. The hottub smelled horrible, needed to be drained and cleaned. I do not recommend this home at all. I am a landlord myself and would never allow my home to be in such disrepair or so dirty.

  Great home at a great price compare to others. We decided to visit lake tahoe for our family vacation and I stumbled upon VRBO website. I found this home and it looked perfect for our family. I emailed my questions and received a response right away with ways to contact the representative. upon our arrival to the home, everything was explained accurately in the email I received and was really easy to find everything around the house. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and close the the lake and stores/restaurants. I would definitely recommend anyone to go and stay at this home. I am definitely looking forward on going back next year for our annual family vacation. Thank you for allowing my family to stay at your lovely home.

  Best cabin I have ever stayed in! Stayed here two times and i wanna keep coming here. The jacuzzi In the backyard is perfect at any weather and the room upstairs has a bunch of beds for an uncountable amount of people to stay and make the trip more affordable. The place has a bunch of common house items to make it convenient for us. We didn't wanna go out because it was so cozy. No complains about anything, great time :)

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  We took our daughter and 7 friends for her 16th birthday party! All 8 girls slept up in the loft and enjoyed movies, games and music while my husband and son and I got to watch movies downstairs. The hot tub was wonderful! The house was clean, homey and very relaxing! Plenty of room and very cozy. Would definitely love to return!!!

  My family and I stayed for a week and loved the cabin. Photos and listing were accurate and the property was very clean. The upstairs loft is the best part - an enormous room that is great for the kids. The property is in a secluded section of town, away from the busy sections of Kings Beach, and is very quiet. I would definitely recommend to anyone considering this property.
