For anyone visiting ICA but not wanting or able to stay on campus, this cottage/home would be an excellent choice. The photos on the website are accurate; the property is well-maintained and generously supplied with kitchen appliances, dishes, cooking essentials and more -- and plenty of towels. The owner was easy to work with, and the value is great. The Interlochen State Park is also very close for those wishing a swim in Duck Lake. Clean, comfortable, cozy, close to ICA. Highly recommended!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Spent two weeks at the Cottage while my daughter was at summer camp at Interlochen. The cottage is only a mile from camp, and is a perfect base for exploring Northern Mi, and going to camp concerts or plays at night. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The back yard is really a special place to relax, and birds are plentiful. Feels like you are a part of the neighborhood here, not just visiting. State park is just up the street for swimming. Would be great for both short and longer term stays.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This house is perfect for a couple or a family of 5. It is clean with a lot of neat decorations. There is a nice walking trail behind the house. You can easily ride a bike over to Interlochen Center for the Arts. It's also a very short distance from Duck Lake & Green Lake. Location is far enough off the road that you don't hear any traffic. I highly recommend this little house for an excellent getaway.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We recently spent a few days at this cozy hideaway just across the road from the world-famous Interlochen Center for the Arts. The accommodations were more than adequate. The cottage was clean, attractive, comfortable and convenient to shopping, sight-seeing and more. The cottage is surrounded by a meadow with wildflowers and bordered by woods with a screen of trees covering the road at the entrance. This creates an environment of cozy seclusion seldom found in vacation cottages.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6

I loved the quaintness of this special cottage. The furnishings made me feel right at home. It was so close to the arts camp where my family and I enjoyed evening concerts. And it was very easy to get to the lakes. A real special place.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
