Rumor has it, BIRCH HOLLOW was the home of Bootlegger Bea. It was more or less, not a drive-thru, but a drive up...holler and tell her what you needed and be on your way. Now, if you passed her up for the bootlegger on up the road, you were in trouble if he was out of what you needed, cause by then, you had already made Ms. Bea mad. Bea's spirit remains in the "hollow" even today.
