Our beautiful, roomy log cabin is still under construction, but we are taking reservations now for Winter '08. Be one of our first guests in this relaxing, luxurious mountain cabin. Enjoy scenic Highway 60 in Georgia's Northeast Blue Ridge Mountains. When it's time to turn off the highway, you are five minutes from our paved circle drive that leads right to our front door. The first thing you notice may be the relaxing wrap-around porches, which will have plenty of rockers and swings.
The main floor will have a full kitchen with high-end appliances, such as professional Thermadore range and Sub-Zero refrigerator. We are equipping the kitchen with everything you may need. The dining room and sun room are next to the kitchen, and both areas are open to the large, cathedral-ceiling living room with wood fireplace. Walk through the glass doors onto the roomy back porch, deck, and gazebo. Private Hot Springs hot tub, dry sauna, and gas grill are conveniently located on this main deck. Back inside, the main floor master bedroom suite will be outfitted with luxury king-size bedding, beautiful furnishings, and a gas fireplace. The master bath has a separate multi-head shower, large beautiful corner bubble tub, double vanity, and dressing table. There is also a gorgeous powder room on this main floor.
Upstairs is a large open loft which will have seating around a gas fireplace, a desk and bookshelves that we will fill with titles you will be welcome to browse through for just the right book to curl up with in front of a fire. The second master suite is located next to the loft, and will be furnished just as nicely as the main floor master. There is even a private screened porch with a gas fireplace--the perfect location for snuggling among the tree tops, and listening to the relaxing sound of the creek below.
Downstairs you will find a full basement. We plan to furnish the huge game room with a pool table, ping pong table, game table, and wet bar. The large third bedroom will most likely be furnished with four single-over-double bunk beds. There are two full baths, one of which has three sink-vanity areas. The laundry room is located next to the game room. From the basement, you can walk out onto another deep porch and deck, which will have a picnic table and plenty of seating, including rockers.
Down one more flight of stairs from the basement deck, we plan to hang a few hammocks on this lower porch. The staircase from this porch leads to the creek-side deck, surrounded by hardwood trees.
Our cabin will have top-quality furnishings, high-end bedding and comfy linens, and top-notch decor.
