Schöne und zentral gelegene Wohnung

Guest: Beate V.
Date of Stay: 10/01/11 Review Submitted: 10/16/11

Best Girls Weekend EVER!

I don't know where to even start. When we first walked into the place we were all so excited. There was a bottle of champagne and chocolates to greet us. The decorations were amazing, the bathroom with the chandelier and plush towels oh and I can't forget all the shampoos and conditioners to try out (bonus), the beds were comfy, we stayed nice and cool while it was pretty hot outside. Jill was always helpful answering any questions and of course just steps away if we had any problems which of course we didn't. I would definitely recommend staying here over a hotel. Just to have the extra room and the kitchen helped so much. It was also an added bonus being right on King St. We were just a few blocks away from The Market and across the street is Virgnia's on King which is a great restaurant. We were worried about the noise before going to bed, but we didn't hear a thing. Definitely stay here if you're trying to find a place!

Perfect place to stay

I was in charge of planning a girls' weekend in Charleston and was so lucky to find this gem! The condo is in pristine condition and includes all the luxuries of a classy hotel - including the two parking spots that really come in handy. The location was perfect for all of our activities - from strolling through the farmers market in Marion Square to shopping on King Street to enjoying dinner down by the water and enjoying the city's vibrant nightlife. Jill was so easy to work with while setting up the trip and even was nice enough to help us get a VIP table at dinner. I can't wait to find another excuse to get down to Charleston and stay here again!

Three of us try to go for a girls weekend at least every couple of years and this place was just perfect. The apartement is very clean and is tastefully decorated. It is close to the visitors center and the trolley stop. Perfect place to stay in historic Charleston.

Uptown treasure

I was lucky to find this apt and stayed here with my husband for one month, Jan-Feb, 2011. I'm familiar with Charleston, and was very happy with the central, very safe location, close to: CofC, Marion Square, the Visitor Center, shopping galore up and down King St., and more more bars and restaurants, all types, within easy walking distance, than you will probably be able to try in one visit. It's an easy 8 min stroll down King/Meeting Sts. to the Market, another 8 min to the Battery. The apartment is comfortably furnished, stylishly decorated. The photos shown are accurate. Bed and kitchen linen and plenty of bath towels/washcloths are provided. In the apartment: a vacuum cleaner, an iron/ironing board, plenty of hangers, three flatscreen tvs, DVD machine(s), DVDs, and an electric fireplace. Also 'white sound' machines in the BRs just for fun; while I was there it was very quiet late at night in the back bedrooms. Very good and responsive heating and a/c, well-equiped kitchen. Owner Lynda and manager Jill are readily available to help with anything of concern, any questions you have, plus they are super nice and easy to communicate with. I was really happy to have the complimentary parking spot 'just for me' right at the entrance to the apartment. If you are hoping for a special place to stay in a very special city, definitely consider this apartment.

Rent this Condo!

Guest: Hattie (Chicago, IL)
Date of Stay: 12/22/10 Review Submitted: 12/28/10

Everything you see in theses photos and read in the description is true. This condo is beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. There is one parking space available right next to the door-space saver cone is a plus! Staying here allows you to walk to a variety of things including shopping, the park, restaurants, the visitors center and The Charleston Museum just to name a few. Coast is fabulous for seafood or try Fish. Joe Pasta and Virginia's are yummy too! The owners of this property care about your stay and your comfort! Come to Charleston and stay at 415 King Street. You will not be disappointed.

Why Stay in a Hotel

Guest: Adam (Atlanta)
Date of Stay: 09/23/10 Review Submitted: 10/05/10

This place has it all, from great people to help you along the way, to a fantastic, central location and more. Lynda and Jill are there to make sure your stay is enjoyable, why would you stay in a hotel? We (wife and our great friends) had a fantastic time, and will certainly consider this luxury condo for the next visit! Adam

Would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was in an excellent location within walking distance to great shops and restaurants! The photos of the place speak for themselves.... It's a beautiful apartment. One thing would make the apartment perfect- an extra towel rack in the bathroom. It would be helpful because if there is more than two people staying, towel space can get a little challenging. Other than that, the place was immaculate.

This accomodations is incredible. Every detail is thought of and the decor is amazing. The beds are so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. I did not want to leave. In fact, I extended my stay a few days. The location is ideal and I felt safe and secure. Having parking was really nice. I travel all of the time, and this was a rare find. I will be staying there again!

Honeymoon getaway

Guest: Skidrow (Houston, TX)
Date of Stay: 07/12/10 Review Submitted: 07/20/10

Wow! This place was PERFECT for my wife and I, as we honeymooned in Charleston. Let me give you some travel advice on Charleston and why choosing this place was and is the way to go.. 1. Staying in the city (especially downtown) is a must. This apartment is conveniently located right downtown, so you can walk to everything. 2. Parking can be a hassle in the city...and expensive, but no worries, there is free, private parking that comes with the apartment. 3. The apartment is a combination of luxurious fashion, mixed with comfort that rivals the most posh hotels. 4. It offers two full bedrooms, with a king size bed that is the most comfortable bed that I've ever slept on. If you are traveling with another couple, this place is perfect. The 2nd bedroom is just as nice as the master. 5. A fully operational kitchen gave my wife and I the option to cook in or dine out. It was nice to enjoy breakfast in our apartment and then eat at one of MANY great Charleston restaurants (within walking distance). 6. We just enjoyed the living space of the apartment. The warm lighting and fireplace really made us feel at home. Why be cooped up in a hotel room, when you can have your own private apartment? 7. Finally, Charleston is a combination of old romantic charm, mixed with nice beaches. I highly recommend staying in the city because the beach is only a 10-15 drive and it is way easier to find parking at the beach. We can't wait to come back to Charleston and stay here again!
