Jacques Cousteau describes the Sea of Cortez as "The Aquarium of the World".
Now come with me. Close your eyes and let your imagination take you here (ok, don't really close your eyes until you finish reading my attempt to put the amazing beauty and fun of this place into words):
.......with excitement you hurry up the amber steps to enter the bold double wooden doors of your new "home away from home". Colors jump out at you, places on canvas entice you and comfort awaits you. Throw open the slider and feel the warm sea breeze flow across your skin. Ahhhh I'm here....
......."why I would love a drink while I soak up the golden sun." You slowly open your eyes to take in once again the breathtaking scene of this cool blue infinity pool seemingly blending into the aqua sparkle of the Sea....
......."Wahoo, someone help me real this thing in!"....
.......I glance beneath me to see a shadow that looks like the vast wings of a magnificent bird, there twirling at it's edges is a dance of angel fish teasing and distracting a playful seal heading in my direction....
.......what a wonderful meal, something exotic, flavors that make my taste buds wonder what more there is to discover! The musicians are ready, the singer begins and the gentle warm night breeze whispers my name. Only steps away is my home away from home, to my pillow....
......."I Don't Want to Go Home!!!"

Or take the free shuttle to The Malecon, the beautiful seaside walkway along the tranquil waterfront of La Paz (only 5 minutes away.)
