Tall Tree Retreat (formerly called "Tall Tree Cabin") is a SECLUDED 1250 sq ft lakeside home right on Table rock Lake. This home has a short 200 ft. walk to the shoreline on a beautiful nature trail. It also offers phenomenal panoramic lake views of Table Rock Lake. The Retreat is on a private peninsula-like area of the lake (see aerial photos). This is NOT a condo or a "cabin" (hence the name change!), with other rental units right on top of each other! You are truly in a secluded setting with a private road leading into our own wooded lakefront area. However, Branson is only 20 minutes away and Eureka Springs is only a short 45 minute drive.
We also have Tall Tree Cottage (see listing at our website), a 1700+ sqft lakefront property that is also available for rent, just down the road. Total capacity for both homes is 14 - perfect for large family gatherings. The properties are within walking distance of each other, but still offer total seclusion. We offer a 10% discount to parties renting both homes.
If you are looking for peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of Branson or a great place to fish, swim or relax, this is the place for you! Have a picnic on the secluded lake shore or sit on your own private deck off the upstairs suite. Watch the Branson Belle pass by or take in a beautiful sunrise and sunset.
This home comfortably sleeps up to 6 people with two queen beds,and a queen pullout sofa bed. Both bedrooms have private bathrooms, with either a large soaking tub (downstairs) or a large jet tub(upstairs).
New furnishings, earth tone colors, rustic decor and huge windows throughout make for a comfortable and serene setting among the trees. Quality beds and linens set this home apart from many other rentals or hotels. No scratchy sheets here! Souvenir coffee mug is FREE to you as well.
Gage's Creekside Marina is only 5 minutes away by boat or car, where you can rent a boat, slip or gas up. The State Park Marina is just across the lake by boat. Or, bring your own boat and use the Old 86 Campground access approximately one mile away, literally across the cove from us. You can also tie-up outside the property or swim and fish in the quiet cove. It is then a short walk on the trail to come back to your home whenever you need!
Wonderful restaurants and shopping are within a few minutes drive. Branson Landing is approximately 20 minutes away. An excellent day trip is Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Dogwood Canyon is our favorite getaway for those looking for more of an outdoor experience. Silver Dollar City/White Water and all the shows you can imagine are nearby....but you don't have to deal with the traffic and crowds!
Tall Tree Retreat is a place you will want to come home to while enjoying a vacation in the Branson area.

The closest place to launch your boat --- just across our cove and only 1 mile by road.
The closest place to rent a boat, get fishing supplies and gas. Only 5 minutes by road from the home.
Great for dining, nature trails, horseback riding, entertainment on weekends and more. Park your boat at the Bent Hook Marina and take a courtesy shuttle to various dining areas on site.
A "tropical island" of pebbly gravel where the locals anchor or beach their boats and swim and lounge all day. Great place to watch the Big Cedar fireworks on any major holiday.

We saw deer in the front yard of this secluded retreat. If you are afraid of being alone, this might not be the place for you, but we loved the seclusion. A very comfortable stay. Fully recommend this place for all!!!

The retreat accommodations were wonderful, very tastefully decorated and clean. Very peaceful....in the mornings there were wild turkeys in the front yard! We'll definitely be back!

Thank you! This was a perfect get-a-way for our family of 4. We are currently moving from Kansas to Springfield and this break was exactly what we needed! Next time, we hope to swim at the beaches. Goodness! The water is high! No fish caught, but great memories! Love the decor!

Thanks so much for letting us stay here! It was cool seeing the eagles. The hot tub was wonderful and fun. We went to Kirby's Magic show and go-carts and Bass Pro. This was a wonderful family vacation! (Josh) Thanks so much for the use of your beautiful house. We had a wonderful time. Favorites were the Kirby show and Mickey Gilley Restaurant and the peace and quiet when we came back to the house. The view was wonderful! (Mom)

We loved our stay in your beautiful home. We didn't get to stay too long in the Cottage last time, but you two were so wonderful and the location is gorgeous! So, we decided to come back and will visit again in the future. In Branson, we went to Ripley's, the Butterfly Palace and the Kirby VanBurch show (recommended). We also say the Talking Rock's Caverns. Took a walk down by the lake, as well. Had a wonderful time, it was perfect!!

We loved our stay here! The boys were really wondering how you change the light bulbs here (so high up). Crazy boys! The hot tub was amazing, everything was perfect. Wouldn't change a thing! We went to Ripley's, Wax Museum and all were fun! Ate many different places, did lots of shopping and had an amazing time. We would love to come back! Thank you so much!

My hunny found the perfect place to spend our second anniversary together! It was so comfortable and inviting as we'll be sure to come back with our friends. Arrived and felt right at home. Enjoyed the wild turkeys. Saw the white one too! Also saw a whole family of deer...beautiful! love the privacy, yet so close to things to do. Purchased a hand made rug from a lady at the corner. She has beautiful pot holders ad candles too. Went horseback riding, fishing and explored a cave. Thanks you Derek and Jennifer for sharing!
