The Ashryn Lodge is named for our two daughters (Aisling & Taryn).
Football is Back and you can enjoy games on our 40" Flat Screen TV, or simply relax and unwind. The cabin is warm, inviting and cheerful, so come relax! You can snuggle up on the deck in front of the outdoor fireplace and read a good novel or simply unwind in the hot tub, or play some board games we have available. Watch the morning sunrise through the french doors off the master bedroom while still in bed! spectacular!Our guests also receive a welcome basket upon arrival. If you have a special occasion, please let us know and we can accommodate most requests.

Ashryn Lodge is 90 minutes from Atlanta and Chattanooga, TN. surrounded by National Forest land and located near Lake Blue Ridge and a short drive to Lake Chattuge. Our cabin was built in 2006 and is your great escape from the City in the mountains, but has all the amenities and luxuries of home including a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV with 40" Flat Screen for College Football & NFL Games, rustic décor, private 6 person hot tub on the lower deck, air hockey table, private master bedroom with a sun deck and Jacuzzi tub, beautiful all season mountain views, and much, much more.
The cabin is furnished with your family in mind. We have numerous DVD's, a selection of board games, and an air hockey table.
Our cabin is all wood on the inside including hardwood floors. One of the most charming features are the 2 gas fireplaces, one in the family room and one on the outside deck. The cabin has lots of windows including two story windows in the family room and 2 1/2 decks, including a sun deck off the master bedroom.
The master bedroom has a large comfortable king size bed; the guest bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed and in the family room is a sofa that converts to a queen size bed. The cabin also has a washer and dryer for your convenience as well as high speed wireless internet service.
For outdoor adventures, our cabin is located 5 minutes from beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. Other activities include a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to Copper Hill, TN., also horseback riding, Kid's Fun World, Bert's Pumpkin Farm, Merciers Apple Orchard and store, and the Swan Drive In Movie Theatre.
We hope you will consider our little bit of heaven in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.

There is a cleaning fee of $65.00
Rent 6 nights for $725, inclusive all fees and get the 7th night free.
Additional charges for 3 or more adults of $25.00 per night.
Cancellation fees apply if cancelled within 7 days of rental. However
the cancellation fee will be applied to a future reservation.

We bought this cabin when we were a family of four for weekend getaways. When we added our puppy to our family he loved it too so we opened our rentals to include small dogs.
Why the Owner Chose Morganton
We choose this cabin because of the view from the decks and the bed in the master bedroom. It is a 90 minute drive from Atlanta and easy for Florida visitors to get to.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The five minute drive to Morganton beach is great, and the clear skies while relaxing in the hot tub awesome.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at your cabin. We found it clean, quiet, and exactly as described on the website, with all the comforts of home. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It was a truly pleasant experience, one we will not soon forget.

The first thing we noticed was the highway noise we could hear as soon as we got out of the car. The closeness of the surrounding cabins was also a surprise. Luckily we were the only one occupied. I'm sure we could've heard people on their decks if they were. Fireplace issues, the one on the deck would only stay on for about 10 mins and then go off for 10. Never got warm enough to set outside after dark. Not at all like a campfire or even a small firepit. Pretty much like a gas grill. On a whole it was a nice relaxing trip since no one else was there. Also rented DVDs. No audio. Ceiling had black cobwebs hanging from ceiling over couch. Sofas all need replaced. Look good but very uncomfortable.
Owner response:In responding, we strongly disagree with the review and are flabbergasted given these guests left their dog feces/excrement on the floor of the basement and the living room floor. The cabin is cleaned thoroughly after each rental and as our many returning guests can attest, is very clean, cozy and quite. Hwy 515 is approximately 1 mile away and we have never had any guest complaints of road noise; our cabin is nestled with 4 other cabins and is very private. The sofas are new within the last 4 years; the fireplaces work perfectly; they are on a thermostat, so they will go off when the temperature a guest sets is reached. At the guest’s request, I personally made a trip to the cabin the next morning after they had arrived and had the fireplaces lit within 5 minutes. I had hoped to demonstrate how to use the fireplaces and had called them 5 minutes to my arrival, but by the time I arrived, they had left rather quickly; so I believe they left to avoid seeing me as the cabin was booked for 2 guests; but in actuality we believe there were 3, perhaps 4 guests. Finally, the cabin was left in such a mess, that our cleaning crew took much longer than expected.

Our stay here was FABULOUS! The cabin was clean, the floorplan was very convenient for the family. We stayed for 4 days and it was the best family vacation we have ever had. We all enjoyed the hot tub and grilling on the back porch for dinner. The wine and trail mix were welcome. I grabbed the trailmix on our way to Rock Creek to fish. They were too busy catching dinner to go have lunch! We are definately going to come back here and stay again.

We spent our 35th anniversary here. What a great place - so beautiful and comfortable. We felt right at home immediately. Aside from some antiqueing in Blue Ridge and Blairsville, we spent most of our time on the beautiful deck watching the birds. We'll definitely be back!

In July my teacher friend and I, plus our two small dogs spent several days at Ashryn Lodge. It was so restful and beautiful. The lodge is clean and in perfect condition. The area around Blue Ridge was great for outdoor activities. We enjoyed hiking and picnicking in Fort Mountain State Park and hiking and berry picking on the road to Ashryn Lodge. Our dogs enjoyed the decks and their safe view of a bobcat. The gift basket was so nice, especially the wine. lol I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for outdoor fun and a relaxing vacation.
