    We found everything exactly as advertised and pictured. We especially enjoyed the spacious living room/dining/kitchen area. The house was clean, all of the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had good quality items that met all of our needs. We especially loved the view of the lake from the sliding glass doors and the nice decks. Our daughter and her family met us there and agreed that it was a great place.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    If you are looking for the quintessential NO FRILLS cottage on the lake, this is it. Lumpy beds, goodwill furnishings, and lack of essentials in the kitchen (colander, broiler pan, etc.) brings this to a 2 ½ rating. My husband and I were here on and off for a month on a house hunt so we were not vacationing. If we were, this would have been a major disappointment compared to other properties we have stayed at. It could be so much better. Providing bath soap, laundry soap (that’s not watered down), nice toilet paper and auto dish detergent are such inexpensive perks. As a “guys” fishing cabin this might get a “4”. We will not be back.

    Owner response: They are correct that we offer a no frills, clean and spacious lakehouse at an affordable price. While this should be obvious from the listing, if you are looking for cherry kitchen cabinets, SubZero stainless appliances, 500 count sheets and high end furnishings this is not the property for you. All kitchen items were at the property along with the soap. We use Angel Soft or similar toilet paper. Furnishings are exactly as shown in photos. The very next guest did not have any issues and loved the place.

    The house was nice, comfortable , spacious and a good location. The location in the cove was quiet. The guys caught plenty of fish, including a large mouth bass which was probably about 5-6lbs. The gated community provided an additional sense of security. Living in the city, it was amazing to see how "really" dark it gets. Beautiful Scenery, Lots of activities!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

    We rented this home for a week in June 2010. We also rented the Pontoon Boat, which was very reasonable for a weekly rental. The home was clean. The lake is very nice, clean and crystal clear. We caught fish, Bass and Blue Gill using live Crickets for bait, which we purchased at a gas station not far from the main gate. Publix grocery/Super Wal Mart is about 30 minutes from the home, so stop for groceries on the way in. If you like fishing/swimming and other water activities, you will have a good time. We would recommend this home. The owner was pleasant and accommodating.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

    Very relaxing and large home on the water!, Rated 5/5 We loved our stay at your vacation home on the water! We wish we had more time to enjoy the amenities. Will have to recommend to friends and family and re-visit. Very clean and best price for the area. Beds were super comfortable! Kitchen had ample space for guests! Back deck and yard on the water was superb! Saw deer both days! Can't believe this peaceful retreat is so close to Atlanta.

    Nice house with a boat, Rated 5/5 My family had a great time at this lake house. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The pontoon boat was great fun. Lake Arrowhead is a very peaceful lake. Also played the new golf course that recently opened and liked that as well.

    My family had a great time at this lakehouse. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The pontoon boat was great fun. Lake Arrowhead is a very peaceful lake. Also played the new golf course that recently opened and liked that as well.

    Terrific rental, the pictures and descriptions on the website are true to life. Clean and comfortable. Having a pontoon boat to rent, ready to go, very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay in the lake house.
