You can't be much closer to the beach you only have a 15-20 foot walkway and 10-15 steps to the beach. The first floor living area, kitchen bathroom and bedroom make it ideal for seniors who have difficulty with steps or families with young children.
Please note that all summer weeks are on a Saturday to Saturday rental schedule, this includes the week prior to and the week of July 4.

Why the Owner Chose North Topsail Beach
This was the site of our first family reunion after all of my siblings reached adulthood and starting have families of thier own. The first reunion led to two of my siblings building homes in N. Topsail beach. After that the rest is history. We continue to use N. Topsail Beach as the gathering place for all our family reunion.
A large number of us meet down there throughout the year and at least every other year we have a major family gathering with Aunts & Uncles included. Our numbers have swelled to as many as 36-40 family mebers. What started off as beach vacations to Cpae Cod evolved into a family continuing the legacy of wonderful beach vacations that my parents, aunts, uncles children, nieces and nephews have enjoyed. The memories are countless.
Our family is spread out along the east coast. It has given us a central meeting place to create memories. All of the cousins have a chance to connect and really get to know each other as well as become very close to their grandparents.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The greatest part of the island is the lack of commercial development. When we go to the beach it's about family and friends and sharing time with them. We are not running off to an arcade or movie. It is the simple activities we enjoy; playing in the surf, taking walks, enjoying cocktail hour on the beach with lots of snacks or simply playing jail break at night.
The proximity of the ocean and beach to the house and the layout of the house. Most beach homes are set back as far away from the ocean as possible to try and protect them from storms and hurricanes. They also layout the home to take advantage of the views. Becuase of this the kitchen and living areas are located upstairs.
Dune Nothing has only 10-15 feet of walkway between the house and beach and only about a dozen steps to navigate to the beach. In addition the living area, kitchen and one bedroom is on the first floor. This is ideal for family members who are older or just have difficulty walking and navigating steps. It is also ideal for families with young children who need to run back and forth to the house frequently.
My parents, who are in their 80s as well as other famiy members with young children love the house beacuase of its proximity to the beach and first floor living area and bedroom for these reasons.

Owning Dune Nothing is a family affair. The property is owned with two other brothers and my parents. My parents had 8 children and growing up our summer vacations were usually a trip to Cape Code or the beach with anywhere from a few to as many as eight kids. It was always an adventure. Depsite the colder NE water and frequent rainy days, us children always had a great time on vacation. (I'm not sure my parents always shared our excitement, especially on those rainy days at the beach.) What we value most is the memories that we were able to create on our beach vacations.

We stayed here with friends for a wedding in May 2010. The house was great. Nice and clean and accomodating for all four couples. Some of the guys would have liked to have had a covered porch to sit on for the shade but the girls loved the closeness of the beach and the sun. We had no complaints and would stay here again if we came this way. Thanks for everything....

Immaculate, like new, roomy house right on the beach - loved sitting on the deck watching kids play in waves and hunt for sharks teeth (yes they found several). All amenities of home, incl. d/w, a/c,... Convenient to both towns/dining options. Could walk either way on this beach for miles. Weather perfect, sandy great beach, relaxing awesome location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach house. The house is beautiful, the beach is beautiful and we had all the amenities of being at home. We absolutely had the best time. It was nice and quiet, the house is a nice size and very clean. The owners were very nice and vey helpful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there and I would love to be able to go and stay there every year. We didn't want to leave....We had so much fun. It was really Great!!!
