Rosemary Beach was designed by the same town planners who created Seaside. It is set high upon the
dunes overlooking the pristine white sands and crystal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is a close-
knit community, accessible to pedestrians. Our cottage is a five minute walk to the beach and a very
short bike ride to the beach. The cottage is idelly locate for walks every where in Rosemary
specially to the center of town where you will find restaurants, shops and cozy bars to have a glass
of wine or a cocktail. Rosemary Beach has a total of four pools, a top of the line tennis center
with eight clay courts, a world class spa that offers a wide variety of relaxing spa treatments,
including massage therapy, luxurious facials, nails services, and refreshing body treatments. The
Rosemary Beach fitness center offers top of the line resistance and cardiovascular training
equipment with degreed and certified personal training and instruction. Other classes and programs
include yoga, taichi, pilates, water aerobics, cardio circuit, group fitness events, one on one
training, wellness, nutrition, and more.
The Sky pool, fitness center and tennis center are only steps away from our cottage. The Coquina
pool is a three minute walk from the cottage. Rosemary Beach is small paradise to be explored with
many parks, boardwalks, and nature paths.
Rosemary Beach and its surroundings are ideal to explore on a bike. Miles of paved trail at the
Beaches of South Walton are ideal for biking during your visit to Rosemary Beach. Both beginner and
advanced cyclists enjoy the 18.6-mile scenic 30-A bike trail that winds through the area’s coastal
dune lakes and villages.
The state parks offer great trails for off-road biking as well. Don’t miss Point Washington State
Park’s Eastern Lake Biking and Hiking Trail, which offers a 3, 5 and 10-mile trail loop winding
through a variety of natural vegetation and wildlife habitats.
You can rent a bike in town at the Bamboo Bicycle Company only a three minute from our cottage

This cottage was great for our family. It was very convenient to indoor pool and gym, and a short walk into town square and beach. Best of all, you don't feel like you are sitting on top of other homes, as it is a little more secluded. The kitchen could add more utensils, etc like the previous reviewer mentioned, outdoor grill was substandard, bikes were rusty and landscaping was a little overgrown. I think with a few improvements, it could make for a much better experience.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We just spent the week of July 4th 2010 and fell in love with Rosemary Beach. This house was perfect. About 1750 sq ft., all nice new appliances, beautiful decor, big porches with swings on first and second floor. Third floor surprisingly as cool as first. The property has 2 working adult bikes. So close to beach you can hear the waves on the second floor porch; 10 walk with kids. Clean! Only negative is the landscape is overgrown and makes it hard to use outdoor shower.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

My family and I just finished a one-week stay at Cruz cottage. We had a wonderful time in this spacious home which is, indeed, a short-short bike ride to the beach. While the house itself was certainly what we expected, it lacked a bit in the "basic needs" area, especially in the kitchen. We found ourselves buying salt, pepper, garbage bags and paper towels (though the midweek cleaning crew brought paper towels and bags halfway through our stay). There was no dishwasher detergent, and the pots and pans were minimal, requiring us to wash the single small skillet midway through the cooking of a small breakfast for a family of 3. Though not included in the listing, there were several funky bikes at the house (three functional) which suited our needs for a quick bike to the beach (and also that we didn't need to rent bikes!) The rental process for the house was very smooth, and Rosemary Beach is a wonderful, family-oriented community. With just a couple of upgrades in the kitchen amenities, this would be the perfect beach destination.
